DATE SCHEDULED!!!

Hi!  I'm Kathy and this is my first post to the site.

I just received my surgical date (JANUARY 6, 2009) and did my official pre-op.

I've been waiting 3 years for this and am so excited and cannot wait.  My doctor is Dr. Wetter from Burlingame, CA.  This man is awesome and I couldn't have found a better doctor for this surgery. 

Next year on that date I am going to celebrate with friends by hopefully being on a snowboard!!

Congrats on getting a great date!! my surgery is also scheduled for that day. can you believe we only have 2 more weeks and then BAM its off to a new way f life for us.....im really excited hope you are too

My surgery date is jan 6th as well.  I can't wait.  I am on a liquid diet for 2 weeks.  Our surgery will be here before we know it.  I have my pre-op on Dec 30th.

I am ready to get on the losers bench.

Welcome Kathy to the board. Congrats on your date. I too would LOVE to go snow boarding next year. Guess I'll add that one to my goal list. Time will fly and before long you will be a loser again. Best wishes.

Well my surgery date is on Jan 5th and my pre-op is on Dec. 31st... Next year definatley do the snowboard thing!!
