Oh how cool... I am RNY, but we are still surgery buddies..   Awesome..

Are you ready, have you been shopping for things that you need??

I am a little crazy when it comes to it all..  LOL   I can't wait either..

We will be blinking our eyes and before you know it, we will be on that table..

Good Luck,

Jenn

I have the protein drink mixes, ordered the vitamins, and stocked up on the liquid diet stuff at home.  But I'll still need to work on making sure I drink enough plain old water!  That will be kind of tough for me.  I am used to working all day with hardly a break and sip sip sip will be a change for me.

You know that all your liquid intake is part of your daily allowences..   What do you do that you wouldn't be able to have water with you?? (If you don't mind me asking)

I can have water with me - but remembering to drink it will be harder for me.  I usually am in meeting after meeting all day (I am an information technology director) and get very focused and forget to eat sometimes, much less drink throughout the day.  I'll have to build in "body breaks" into my day!

LoL, I know what you mean.. If I don't write things down then I forget... but the problem with that is I forget where I wrote it down..

Just do your best.. And make sure to keep up on your vitamins.. I hear that is SO VERY IMPORTANT..

Good Luck hun....

Jenn, welcome to the January board. Jan 6th is the day I go in for my pre op with the surgeon. I hope to get a date soon after that. I am so excited. I can't wait to be  a loser. I bet you are excited as well. sounds like you have a houseful depending on you. what a great motivator to do things right. congrats on your decision.

Emily,

I too hope you get a date soon.. It is crazy not knowing isn't it..   You will be a "loser" sooner than you think.. Time really starts to fly.. Just a few weeks ago, January was looking to be so far away, and now, it is almost here..  OMG..

I love my family and hope to be around for them for years to come..  And not just live at home, but get out in the world and do things....    I can't wait..

Merry Christmas, Keep us updated on a date for you..

Hugs,
Jenn

I have mine the day before you and am having the rny, too.  I am a mom of four boys and live in mn and would love to be anywhere warmer!  LOL   Looking forward to be on the losers bench and have you join me.  This is the first time I know for sure I will be keeping my New Year's Resolution to lose weight.  I hope your biopsy comes out okay.  Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Hugs,

Amy
