Hi there I have been lurking on the Ontario site and comment every so often.  I came across this one by accident.  I am having surgery on Jan 27, 2009.  I start my opti fast on Jan 12.  YUM!!! NOT!  I am so excited..every so often i get a very small pang of "oh no" I am sure it will get bigger as the time gets closer...

Welcome to the board.  We are all on pins and needles on this site, so excited because our dates are so near. Mine is the 19th.  I am still in the "it's too far away to be real " stage.  But then I tell myself that I start my liquid diet in just three weeks!

Welcome Jack This is a good place for all of us who are really starting anew in a New year.I am January 29th. I am going to the "dark side"  I am having a 20 year old failed VBG revised to the DS.
I pray you have a smooth procedure, speedy recovery and by this time next year a lot less "jack"

Congrats to you.

My surgery date is on the 13th of January and I am excited too but nervous at the same time. I got on the scale yesterday and had gained 3 pouncs (well according to this scale). So I had to get my butt back on track because I need to lose that or I won't be having it...  so I feel a little under pressure.  And then my nerves makes me want to eat more. so wish me luck.

btw, how do I add that tickler to track my weight so that it shows up on my mesg's.... sorry I am new here... thanks in advance

Welcome to the board. We keep getting new members every day. it is great that you found us. I have my pre op visit with the surgeon on Jan 6. i am so excited. I can't wait to get a date. Time will fly and you will be there before you know it.

About the ticker,,,,i followed a step by step that someone posted and while i look smart because I have one, I would love to know what to change it to another number...so we will need to learn together again.  I am a slow learner when it comes to tech stuff...I am hoping to be a very quick learner when it comes to what can and can not go into my mouth!
