Bummed Once again!

I posted on the lapband forum today. I guess I've been putting off this question hoping something would change. After Dec 31st I won't have a job which means after the end of Jan. I won't have ins. I am still having surgery on Jan. 7th so I'm happy about that but afterwards with the fills it is going to be tuff. Even if I do find a new job and get new ins I'm not sure the ins will cover the fills. Anyway, I asked if anyone knew how much fills cost with no is. Well, they start at around $200.00 per fill. I think someone is tryin to punish me!!!!!!  I may not have to worry about eating to much......I may not have any food to eat!

First off..lets stay positive!!

1) You will get to have surgery & you will have time off from work to recover!

2) You will have plenty of time to look for a new job while your recovering.

3) This IS god blessing you...NOT punishing you. (you just don't see it yet!)

4) Your starting a new life in 2009...might as well start everything new! 

5) And lastly..god will always provide for you!! Put it in gods hands..and trust in the lord!

I agree with Amanda. Let God handle this situation. He may have a BETTER job for you and Better insurance. Just use the time off to recoup and help you find a job. I know tough times always seem like God is punishing us but just see it  as His test to see if you are willing to be faithful and trust  in Him. Best wishes and I will be praying for you.

Can you apply for COBRA insurance?

Yes, I can apply but you know COBRA cost an arm and a leg!  I just don't know how I will afford it with no job.  Its hard being a single mom.  I'm sure there are alot of us out there.  You would think there would be some type of help!
