OT: morning ramble

Good Morning everyone. I hope you all are having a fabulous day. It is soooo cold here. I have to get out to take my kids to school. Not looking forward to freezing. I also have to run to the store to get a few things. We got sleet and snow last night, but it is all gone this morning. Wish the cold would have left with it, but I do prefer winter to summer. Just no pleasing me where the weather is concerned. Have a happy hump day everyone.

Good morning!  Its 60 here, but its raining :(.  I like winter better too!!

It was very cold here this morning, also. We had a little bit of freezing rain and snow flurries, but it wasn't too bad. I hate the thought of 4 more months of this!! I LOVE summer- am I the only one here that likes it hot and humid???? The Georgia winter doesn't sound too bad to me...

Its frecking cold here too in KS. We had snow last week which turned to ice.
(which  BTW, i slide across in my husbands jeep and hit a curb and knocked everything out of alignment on...LOL) Then a day later it was sunny and bright and everything melted and it was like nothing happened.

We are getting ready for some wicked weather this coming week!  
They are saying "freezing rain"....ughhhhhh! I'm like you Emily...just no pleasing me.
I love to see the snow..i love to watch it fall..i love how it blanket's the streets and everything looks so clean and fresh...but dang that frecking ICE!!!  I grew up in sunny CA. and only drove up to the snow for the day. We have lived here in KS for 5 years now. I love to see the seasons change.

Where i am going to have my surgery is 2 hrs from my house and its basically all back roads to get there. I sooooo hope we don't get bad weather around that time....id be so crushed if i couldn't have my surgery due to the WEATHER!! 

I'm going to go to the grocery store here in a min. I'm thinking of making a roast. Its also good weather to make a big ol' pot of soup/stew!!! YUMMY!!

Can you believe it got up to 71 here today but it is supposed to be 20 tonight.  Oklahoma weather for you. We are supposed to have a winter storm come through on Tuesday and stay until Thursday. I hope it is only snow.
I will be saying prayers for good weather for your surgery.

Right now its down to about 15 and windy!! It's suppose to go lower.
Its going to be a good night for my hubby.
