Thanks for the info. Bri had hers done the other day and i guess if you two made it through OK...i will too!!  My husband is taking the day off to take me. Have to do all my pre-op tests at the hospital where i am having WLS and its like 2 hrs from home.  
Hope I'm not too much a pain for my husband!!

Can you eat afterward??  Am i suppose to fast before??  I'm sure i have it written down somewhere.

Hows the liquid diet going?? 
I thought about starting mine early....i don't have to start mine until Jan. 5Th.
What are you eating/drinking?

How did the upper GI go yesterday?? Is that the same thing as a EGD? I have my EGD on
Jan 9Th and they will knock me out for it. (twilit sleep)

You sound like you got it together!! I have to get my butt in gear for the liquid diet portion but am very excited!!

My doc want us to use Boost Gluose Control for the two week diet and that stuff is epensive.  I've been buying a couple six packs a week to keep the cost from hitting so hard. 

I'm excited, too.  I'm glad there is Christmas to keep me busy and distracted.

Hang in there...it is going to be soooooo worth it!!!

  we are all so proud of you!!!    You CAN do it!!!

Your right --day 10 and still not smoking.  Havn't mangled anything or anybody yet either.  Thanks for asking.  My grown kids have even told me they are proud of me.  That doesn't happen very often!
