Where is everyone?

Hi all. Where are you at? No one has posted for a while. How was your Halloween? Did you eat too much Candy? Halloween is my favorite Holiday next to Christmas. I love to see my kids dress up and have fun. We live on a dead end street so we don't get any trick or treaters, so we go to my Brother-in laws neighborhood for my son to trick or treat and then we hang out and help pass out candy. I just love to see all the kids. It was so much fun. I got a lot of walking in....and....I only had 4 little mini size candies. Yes, they were chocolate...lol. Anyway, I hope to see you all posting some. I miss the chatter.

I'm sorry!  I have ben slacking big time!  We had family in town for most of Oct and we spent a week at Disney!  Our Halloween was fun!  All 3 boys got lots of candy and yes I had to have a few!! 

I recently changed my mind on what type of surgery I am going to have.  I am not getting RNY, I will be getting LapBand in Jan!  I hope TriCare approves it! 

I've missed you guys!

What made you change your mind to the lapband? I have heard good things about TriCare being quick to approve. I hope this is true for you. Glad to see you back on the board.

Hearing stories from people 3 plus years post op.  I spent a lot of time listening to what they have to say, reading their blogs, watching their youtubes.  It just doesn't feel right for me.  I'm so hoping Lapband works for me.  I know the weight loss will be a lot slower but in the long run I think its better for me. 

Sounds like you have made an informed decision and you have to do what is best for you. Glad you researched it all.

I'm here....just been working 3rd shift and been a bit tired.

I Finlay had a day off yesterday..but i had a ton of stuff to do.
I will try to get sleep today....but its OK if I don't...i have Sun & Mon off too!!!
