Lap Band on 01/02/09

Hi. I start Medifast today. This marks my 6 weeks left till surgery! So far so good. I have done slim fast in the past so i'm hoping i can make it through the rough 3 days till all the junk gets out of my system...I'm excited about my surgery but also nervous. I am actually looking forward to losing this weight on the medifast before my surgery. My clothes are all so tight. TTYL.

I can definitely relate to the tight clothes. I have taken to wearing sweat pants. I have gained so much weight none of my jeans fit and I refuse to buy any. Good luck on the medifast. I hope it works for you. the first couple of days of liquids are rough, but you will get through it. Prayers coming your way.

uck! I am having such a hard time with this medifast crap. I so want some kind of a carb!!!! Today is 3 days for me. I had my meal this afternoon instead of in the evening. Why do i have to do this?!!! My best friend had the bypass today at 12:30, i haven't heard anything yet. Can you tell i'm frustrated?

It takes about a week to detox from the carbs. It should get better after that. Sorry you are having a rough time. Hope you hear about your friend soon.
