Hi there! I thought I'd come over here and say hi. I don't officially have my date yet, but I want the last week in January. I still have to do my psych evaluation - that's on Monday. my hosptial doesn't require a liquid diet, but I am thinking I'm gonna do it anyway - I wanna get that liver shrinked!! That's really important to me! I want it laparoscopically, and so hopefully that will make a difference. My husband is in the Air Force, and I'll be having surgery at an Army Hospital. I don't really have many choices here, but I do have choice of surgeon, so i'm still in the deciding stage for that - I have heard pretty good things about two of the surgeons, and so I may just go with whoever can get me in closest to the last week of January. Anyway, just wanted to say hi!

I start my all liquid diet on Jan. 8th then have surgery on the 21st. I'm getting nervous but excited too I just want it over with so that I can start my new life. Bev~

Some of the best advice I have been given is breathe. When you start getting nervouse just take a deep breath. It really does help.

Topic: It has happened again......

My surgery has been postponed, AGAIN, from November 4th to January 14th and now to February 4th. My surgeon will be out of town the first 3 weeks in January...so I'm waiting...I hope the 3rd time's the charm.

Well, I guess I will head on over to the February board and introduce myself. Good luck to all of my January sisters and brothers. I won't leave you hanging...I'll be checking on you.
