Hi, I was scheduled for Jan 15 but it was changed to Jan 22. Either one is fine for me.
But strangely, I've been losing weight and I have not yet started my pre op low calorie diet! I must have lost around 8 lbs in the last month. The only change I've made is starting on thyroid meds for a low thyroid. I *Know* I did not have a low thyroid my whole life, I've had it checked a zillion times.
Anyway, I'm taking everything one day at a time.

Got my date last Monday. I am so happy. It's been a long strange trip, let me tell you! This is my third attempt at having the surgery and this time it is really going to happen!

I have a date of January 14th. But my doctor is trying to squeeze me in on January 2nd!!
Either one seems right around the corner.
