Congrats and good luck. I am having surgery on the 3rd too! I can't wait to start my "new" life!

One more week and it's January and we all get to start our new lives. What have you been doing to prepare? I asked for not too many sweets from home. I had to have some since it is the end of them for a long time, maybe forever. I also asked for gift cards to Fashion Bug since they have all sizes and I can use them at all stages. I also got a top in a smaller size. Almost fits too. I can get it on but wouldn't wear it in public yet. (Give me 2 months or so). I did get some Harley shirts in 2X to wear later instead of the usual t-shirts. Good luck to all of us in the next few weeks. Kathy

I don't know. I'm sooo dreading the pre-op liquid diet. It's Christmas Eve now (well, it's after midnight, so it's technically Christmas Day) and I am starting the liquid diet on Boxing Day. So I have 24 hours left to eat. :/ I would try to keep busy with a hobby or something. Also, what really motivates me is looking at fashion magazines and catalogues, ESP. Victoria's Secret online. It might sound silly, but looking at all those things makes me want to stick to something. I can't imagine how hard it is (I'll be there soon enough), but the end result will be so worth it!! Hello Stephanie my date is Jan the 9th too. Well I am scared to death but at the same time I know I'am doing the right thing . We will be fine just hang in there.

I will start the New Year off right, my Lap Band Surgery is with Dr. Clark on 01/02/08 . Whew whooo
