aaaaahhhhhh! only 75 pounds for me. i feel like it is slow going. i have had lots of stalls, but i also figure, the slower it comes off, the less likely i willneed plastics. i did get to go to the gap and buy a rocking pair of white size 18 pants. yeehaw! about how many calories are you guys at per day? and...congrats on your loss.

hi! I am down exactly 87lbs to date but I think the weight loss is slowing...it also
could be because I slacked off at the gym...
I have gone from a 30/32 to 18/20s..mostly...my stomach still looks so big to me...& I have major sag in the inner thighs(tmi..I know)...still really happy about it. OH...& I FINALLY HAVE PAID OFF MY LANE BRYANT CARD JUST IN TIME TO NEVER EVAH
USE IT AGAIN! YAY!

I had surgery on 1/14/08 and was wondering how everyone is doing. I am down exactly 85 lbs to date. But it seems to be coming off slowing..but steady. My clothing size has reallly dropped or at least I think so. From a 30/32 to some 16's or 18's. I told my daughter that hopefully in a few more weeks I will not be able to shop at LB. Which sounds wonderful to say.
How about you all?

Great and guess what I am down 60 pounds too... had my VG on january 15 and am encouraged by your result. My weight loss has slowed down but I still need to shed another 25 lbs or so and am worried if that will happen and how long it will take. Great job!!!! MY surgery was jan 28 and i reached 190 just receantly as well! What is your goal weight and your dr's goal for you?
Topic: want surgery but so afraid
I am 57 years old and over 400lbs. I have lots of health issues. Am i too old, too fat, and too many issues to have the surgery. Oldest daughter had hers yesterday and so far she is doing very good. I worry about eating the right things and enough. Daughter is a nurse and was so ready to do this. She did not want to have health problems i have. Is there anyone out there that is over 55 and over 400 lbs that has had the surgery? Please tell me how you are doing. thanks for any info auntbj

We had surgery the same day!!!. I am down 58 lbs and it was good to read your post to see you are pretty much at the same place.....GREAT JOB.
