I woke up with a cold yesterday and my surgery is on the 22nd of this month! My mom told me about Zycam, so I went out and bought it. I got the fast dissolving tabs, you melt one on your tongue every three hours and it's supposed to speed up your recovery and make the cold pass faster. It's been 1 day and I am already a believer. I feel so much better already, like my cold is already going to be gone in a day or two. My husband is the one who got me sick and he's had the cold almost 2 weeks!~ Try it, for 8 bucks what does it hurt? Good luck!

I had to go thru everyone telling me to just run it off and drink water, LOL! Like i havent been on every diet on earth. They can complain because they are all small. I just ignore everybody and do what is right for me. I am doing better today and trust me god is the only thing keeping me sane right now! I am in ft bragg, nc. My doctor is jason hiles. I wonder why your insurance didnt pay, I am covered. I couldnt imagine having to pay, that must be hard for you. I hope everything works out ok.

Awww, that's too bad. I hope you can get over it before you go, or that the doctor can give you something to help fight it off. Hopefully they wouldn't postpone surgery for a cold, anyway?!

Hi Ana, I only have to do a clear liquid diet the day before surgery so in that regards I am holding up fine so far. My surgery is also scheduled for the 14th. I am more excited than nervous. I do have young children, so I am dealing with the occasional fear of the "what if's" but mostly I am just so excited to lose this weight and gain some energy to play with them! I will be thinking of you on OUR day! LOL

Hello Diane, I have not yet gone to Mexico, however, I do have a date scheduled with Dr. Aceves. I have contacted his office, who gave me an email from one of their patients, so maybe you can link up with someone. My date is 2/8/08, so I will be happy to let you know what happens (if you have not already found a dr by then). I did look online and researched ALOT.
