Topic: RE: Surgery in a few days!
That means you go in TOMORROW! Thanks for the advice about the chapstick - I ALWAYS carry some on me (nothing beats Burt's Bees!)! I haven't been worrying about the feminine products (TMI: I have Mirena IUD which means I have no periods...W00T!), but lately I've been thinking that there's always the possibility! Thanks for reminding me!
Best of luck to you!

Topic: RE: OT: Laid off - losing insurance
Oh, that sucks. You've already had surgery, but the insurance covers the fills? Could you talk to your surgeon about your options? I'm sorry that you have to go through this, and hope you find a job soon!
Topic: One more week to go!
I am very excited, I am all set to go for surgery on the 14th! I have worked for this for 4 years and it is less that 7 days away! Best of Luck to you all!
Topic: OT: Laid off - losing insurance
I had my very first fill of 3cc's on January 2nd. The doctor did it super fast and I left the office with the ability to drink water and a spring in my step. That day was going to be the start of fills and weight loss success.
Then I got to the office and after working all day I was called into the VP's office and laid off. The company had not done as well as they projected. It was a start up and since they aren't making money - neither am I. I've got to look for a new job and get some income and insurance stat! I can't be a bandster without insurance!!!
And we can't live off my boyfriend's income alone... Anyone have any job openings in the Northshore area?

Thanks for your support. Good luck! I think this is going to the longest week of my life.
Topic: RE: Has anyone used Dr. Hamn or Dr. Cribbins from Plano?
I went to their seminar, and had a one on one visit. However, my insurance was an issue for his office. So, I kept looking and found the Baylor Bariatric Center in Plano,(which is not too far from Dr. Hamn and Cribbins) they did everything for me with the insurance. ( I was denied 3 times and the fought for me) and I felt so comfortable w/my surgeon Dr. Nicholson. So, if you are shopping for a surgeon, I would suggest calling Baylor Medical Center in Plano...it was the most positive thing I have ever done for myself.
