Does anyone know how bad this will be. Can you leave the house? I need to do this on Wednesday for my surgery on the 10th.

I am also having surgery on the 17th and it seems like a hundred years away. I guess I'm just excited (but at the same very scared!). Good luck with your surgery and may your journey be everything you hoped for and more!

I don't know, sweetie. I'm sorry that you feel your progression has been slow. You've talked to your doctor about this?
Maybe try posting your question on the main or RNY board, you'll probably get more hits and suggestions. Are you getting the right amounts of protein in?

This is the day that I have been waiting for now for a year. I will be gladd to get this over and into my new life.

I look forward to getting through the surgery and starting my weight loss journey. The last 4 months started my weight loss journey, but this is where it really happens. Less eating, smaller stomach and putting my mind to it 110% of the time. Anyone else having surgery on the 17th of January?

Welcome back, Lakisha! I am glad you are home in the comfort of your own home. Bloating and gas pains appear to be normal. My surgery is not until 1/17, but I have read a whole lot on the process and recovery. Best of luck during the next few weeks and months.....Keep us posted.
