There are some clinical trials currently enrolling for persons who have had gastric bypass and have either (1) not lost sufficient weight, or (2) gained back some weight over time. I fit in the second category, and am in the process of being assessed for enrollment in a study at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore (there are 10 sites current enrolling throughout the country). Hi Caron - Wishing the best of luck today - 1/8/08. You will do great and be just fine. i had my surgery 1 year ago today and I have never looked back. This is the best thing you could do for yourself. Take it easy, listen to your doctors and sit back and enjoy the ride. Marta

I had VSG 1-3-08, Thursday. I have a very slight fever of 99.3. Is that a bad thing? Should I be worried? Is this just a normal part of the deal? What should I do?

My friend said her's was really bad ! But anytime you do something like that it's best to do it when your not going anywhere ... Best of luck I'm also set for the 10th .....
