Hi everyone. I got home Sunday from the hospital. I had my on the 8th. I am a little sore in my belly. The stairs in my house are not my best friend right know, but we will be very quickly. I go Saturday and get my 10 staples
. I went in weighing about 241 maybe a little higher and this morning I weigh 225. So I am very glad I did this and I am so happy to hear my teenagers say WOW We're goona have a skinny mom! They have never seen me that way so I am very excited about that also. Everyone keep up the good work and Congratulations. For the ones having surgery Good Luck!!!!!

My surgery is the 22nd! I too am anxious. We'll get through it. It's normal from what I understand.

I went to see Hollie this afternoon. She had been out of surgery for about 4 hours. She was walking the halls and thankful that her new life has begun.
Her husband was attending to her so lovingly.

Can anyone tell me how much protein we are suppose to consume in one day? Also how many carbs? I hear different things????

Boy am I getting nervous, and so not looking foward to the bowel prep tomorrow. Just wanted to say Good luck to all my January brothers and sisters. Thanks for all the well wishes and I'll see you on the losers bench!
Topic: Back Home Finally
I must say, no matter how much you prepare for, you are not ready. This surgery has been vey uncomfortable for me and I have been running a fever up until today.
My surgery was 1/10/08 and I was in the hospital until today. It is good to be home.
I am finding it very hard to get my protein in and fluids as well. I am just not hungry. I am trying though.
I had LapBand surgery in '05 and had the band removed in October. The doctor left the port in just in case I wanted to LapBand again. Since I got the RNY surgery he removed the port. The port area is what is killing me. It is so painful. I have a bruise that goes from my belly button to my left hop area.
Also when I am walking my legs are killing me.
Thanks for letting me vent.

Thanks so much, our first thought was BCBS because they have been great to us in the past. But being self employed is difficult. THanks agian! Jennifer
