I AM SCARED NOW THAT I HAVE MY DATE , BUT I AM REALLY KINDA EXCITED AT THE SAME...

Hello Stephanie my date is Jan the 9th too. Well I am scared to death but at the same time I know I'am doing the right thing . We will be fine just hang in there.

I got a call from my surgeons office last week with my insurance approval. They want me to choose a date of the 15th or the 21st of January. Wow...........I chose the 15th. I will hear later today about all of my pre-op testing tenatively scheduled for the 8th, final clearance from my PCP on the 9th, and a go on the 15th. I am very nervous, scared, and excited at the same time.

My date is January 9th in Dallas. I go from being really excited to hyperventilating. Sometimes I am so comfortable with my decision then 5 minutes later I think " What the heck were you thinking!!!". I think it is good to have the surgery at the 1st of the year. To me it almost seems like a new beginning. I am going to my friend's annual New Year's Eve party next week and I keep trying to think about the little black dress I will be wearing next year!!! I started my 2 week pre-op diet today. 2 protein drinks and a Lean Cuisine. That should be a real shock to my system after the last couple of weeks! Hi All... I am new to this forum, but my surgery date is scheduled for Jan. 14th. It's so nice to know I'm not all alone!!

Add me to the nervous list. My date is January 10th in Concord, NC. I am very excited. I go and meet with my Dr. on Friday and go for labs that too. It is also my sister's birthday. We both can be celebrating a birthday on the same day. (l0l)

Hi Stephanie I am new here too and just found this forum. I am also scheduled for the 9th too, just started the liquid diet!!! I am in Scotland, uk. I am feeling nervous too, sleeping is hard! but iam sure this will all be worth it jen x

Mine will be Jan 21st. Im really not nervous about the actual surgery or the pain...its what happens AFTER surgery that IM worried about! As far as the surgery, my official additude is BRING IT ON BABY!! Im sooo ready for this. Just wi**** were tomorrow!! 25 days and counting!!--Dana

O woh, great to know that we can continue to support each other pre and post surgery. Had my first shake today and it was not too bad but 14 days of this....I will have my VSG surgery on the 15th in India...yeah yeah the easy way out, they must be kidding whenever that is said/hinted at !!
