Thanks Willie!!! I think if my ps had not taken precaution I may of had more pain. I have fibro and so we discussed pain management. He had told me that if needed he would do the morphine pump while in hospital, but he didn't like to do that as he feels it slows the heanling down. I guess he decided to be safe, because I did have morphine pump. The thing is you have to keep the pain under control. Once you really start feeling a bunch of pain it's too late and it takes a lot to get it back under control. He also had me on percaset for those first few days. Then he called in a script for loretab once I ran out of that. I haven't used it all. I am just taking tylanol for pain now. I feel more tight and sore now then anything and the pain is the type you would have if you worked out to hard. Anna

Wow! Your PS did an awesome job, the bruising dosent bother me but the pain is the only thing I think about. When I have mine done I hope my tolerance for pain is much like yours (LOL), I dont like alot of pain meds. But you look great looking forward to your updated pic without the drains and brusing, but even now you look great.

Good Monday Morning My January Lovelies! I just returned from a brisk 1/2 mile walk to the busstop for my first grader...it's a little chilly out for August. If I were really motivated I would have turned that 1/2 mile into several more...but there's always tomorrow, right? Surgery/high: 251.5 Last Monday: 141.2 Today: 139.8 ( huh???? the 130's...wth??) Loss/gain: -1.4 Okay, so somehow I have lost nearly 3 pounds in two weeks. I am not trying to lose so this is surprising. I guess now I have to decide if it's a good thing or a bad thing have lost this weight and if I want it to stay off. I suppose if you want to lose weight...log your food and keep it within those calorie limits...it works! Hmmm, decisions, decisions...what should I do? I've NEVER seen the 130's...well, not since jr. high school. Well, make it a great week my lovelies!! ~Suz

Hey Janie, feeling really good. I plan on going to work today for about 2-4 hours. Just going to play it by ear. My PS hasn't told me what bra to wear once I heal up. I'll ask him when I go back this Thursday. We don't know if insurance will pay but we are going to try. Also I believe you can use it for taxes that's what my schedular told me. She handed me a sheet with all the costs so I could use it for taxes. I am going to put it down as reconstructive surgery. Anna

It totally makes sense...it's like we've been snatched up and stuck in these bodies that just wouldn't let us out for years. I am amazed how long it is taking me to feel like this is me...not the other version. And, I too felt sorry for that "other" me...she looked pretty damn miserable in those before photos. I really can't blame her, either . And you missy... better get to the doctor and get your check up! Besides, it feels so great to hear that all is well and then you can go about your business until the next time. At least I know that I stress over the blood work and have to know if I am in the weeds with my levels. It's so funny...I get nervous every time I have to go in. I have no earthly idea why...I'm not doing anything wrong or having any problems .

Hey Anna - how are you doing? I was checking out your pics again and wow they did a fantastic job. I have to ask you a couple of questions. Did your plastic surgeon mention what type of bra to wear once your breasts are healed? Mine just said a good supportive kind. I got a wonderbra and then a vanity fair bra (advanced aging, says it lifts really hghi, lol) I was just curious as to what your doc suggests as far as wearing a bra. Oh, mine said that I don't have to wear it to bed either, that theres no gravity going on when I'm lying down. I still do, I'm afraid I'll wake up one day and not be all perky. lol! Also, will insurace pay for any of your surgery? That woluld be awesome. Do you know if the $$ we pay out of pocket is deductible (I mean when we file our tax return for this year?) I don't think it is because it's considered cosmetic surgery.

Awwwwwww Suz, I am glad you are part of our forum, I've said it before, you keep it real, you come with educated advice and you are encouraging. We are lucky to have you in our January group! I had to laugh at the image of seeing you sitting there waiting for the doc in those huge chairs and him saying you looked like a little girls swinging her legs on a park bench!!! heheheheheh! I've been told a few times that I look like a little girl. I have to run and look in the mirror and I say "yeah, maybe a little girl who is going crazy, looks like she needs a week of sleep because she chases twins around all day) YEY for the awesome bloodword results. I have to call my doc tomorrow and see when I need to go in. I may have missed it. OOPSY DAISY! And omg isn't it crazy to look at pictures from a yr and a half ago and think that's how you were?? I still look at those pictures and feel sorry for that person. : ( It was me, but it wasn't me. Does that make sense?

Yes lots of bruising in the butt but my butt is still numb so I don't feel it. Dr. K did an amazing job of making sure I had a butt, I'm sure that's why all the bruising. No my ps did not file insurance. I will file it myself though once I am feeling more myself. We paid out of pocket though. Anna

Hi Janie, no not on pain pills anymore. Just experiencing soreness as if I exercised too much. He removed about 5 lbs. Your right that is just amazing. My doc gave me a water pill too. No implants just a lift. I love my PS, he did an amazing job on the boobs and made sure I wouldn't have a flat butt. Anna
