The system that is used in CA to choose applicants is a lottery. So, everyone who gets their app packet in on time and correctly appointed goes into the drawing. About 50 or so names are chosen for the two schools here in Sacramento. That's it for the semester. Grades don't mean anything outside of making sure that the minimum requirements for application are met...good grades don't give any advantage at all. The entire system is a crap shoot.
My deadline for application is Oct. 17. Then I suffer for up to 8 weeks before I receive notification of acceptance or denial. If I don't get drawn, I get to do it all over again in spring '09 for the fall '09 semester.
That's it in a nutshell. Have I said before how much I detest living in CA???

Janie, thank you. Well I do have some control over who sees them. I have it set up so just my friends can see. It was tough to do the first time and now it just feels like I'm helping others out who may want the same procedures as I had.

Anna - I think that's great that you posted those pics. It gives people who are considering PS hope! You look wonderul! You are a brave woman let me tell you, I won't even take a pic of my butt, let alone boobs., heheheheh! I think it's wonderful that you did though and omg you look amazing!
