Katy - saying a prayer for you hon, I hope you stay safe.
That is a wow moment, to be able to use the crutches and not have your weight weigh you down. Hope you're feeling better real soon.

WOW that is a lot of $$ but you are worth it, you've come so far. I would get a second (and 3rd) opinion if I were you. I didn't have the procedures that you had done but here's what I had:
A tummy tuck $5000 (covered by insurance)
A vertical extenstion ($1000)
Breat Lift $6000
and it was worth every bit. I would love to have my arms done, but OMG that is a lot of $$$. I know it can be overwhelming, so don't rush into it. Take some time to process the info given to you and most of all SHOP AROUND!

Wow Marta! I would shop around, big time. That is almost twice what my arms and breasts with augmentation was. Mine was $12K for all three, AND I got the more expensive silicon implants, not the saline.

Topic: Knee surgery wow
Who would ever think that knee sugery could be a wow moment?
I had surgery last Friday. I always thought I couldn't handle crutches but not so. I was just too fat and out of shape to hold myself up. But now after weight loss of 165 pounds, I was like an acrobat on those crutches. I stayed ahead of the pain for a couple of days as the doc suggested. But as of Sunday night, I was pain pill free and pain free. I can't believe how quickly I have been able to bounce back from surgery. All that weight off has made a huge difference (pun intended). I am still amazed at how much easier everything is for me minus the weight.
I am still on restrictions as I prepare to evacuate ahead of the storm. If you want to know exactly where I live, look at the projected path of Hurricane Ike. Sigh.
Well, I can't complain. I have lots of warning, a safe place to go and help to pack up the essentials. With the extra time that natural disasters don't usually give you, I am at a quandry of how much to take. Do I be a greedy gut and pack up as much as possible or do I just take the minimum. I will find some compromise in between I guess.
I appreciate any prayers toward all in the way of Ike.
Hugs,
Katy

Obviously my ticker needs to be updated due to the recent gain...but my total loss was around 178.....but I am striving and working to get back on track and I will do it. I am actually 38 pounds from goal as of this morning.
