My daughter has taken Miralax for over a year and at her annual they decided to try a high fiber diet and Metamucil and Milk of Magnesia- which sounded good at the time. i mean who wants to be on meds when you can do it naturally right? Well- needles to say- it didn't work and then when I tried to return to the Miralax it was too late. Anyways- 3 enemas later and she finally went- but what an awful thing for her to go through- screaming and crying...
Enemas have come a long way since the movie Cybil though...
As for the window... her I am yelling at the triplets cuz it's supposed to be quiet time in their rooms... I finally go up and look in the extra bedroom and- whoa- 2 bullet holes in the window. I send all the kiddos down to the basement and called 911. It was a BB gun or small-powered rifle cuz it only went through the first pain and just damaged the second one. So no glass in the house- thank god. The police combed the area but found nothing. By the time the police left an hour later Colton was sitting on one of the policeman's laps in the police car talking over the intercom- "stick em up bad guys" and Bryce was working the flashing lights. Conner was in the back seat with the other cops telling him that this would be the only time he ever rode back there. we are lucky to have such wonderful policemen here in the Springs- but the whole incident still scared me...
So far it's been calm this week!!! :)

Holy Cow Holly, you have been through it. Happy Birthday to you too!! How is your daughter and oh my gosh what is the story on the shot throught the window. Is everyone okay? How did the party go otherwise. Sympathies on being that time. Get some rest and take extra iron. I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers that you and your daughter get through this. 14 days...yikes.

Holly - What in the world. Ok, let's talk about the shot through your window.Who did that? With a gun right? Thank God no one was hurt. Please tell me the police caught the SOB that did it?
I'm so sorry to hear about the night in ER with your daughter. Same thing happened with Kelsey but she had just two or three days when she couldn't go. It hurt her like crazy, put her right down on the floor screaming. We thought her appendix had burst. So, did they give your daughter anything that would help her go?
Seems like you have a lot going on girl and 134 lbs for your height is STILL low~~~~~.

Steph- it was so good to see you up and early leading off the posts again- I can't think of a better attitude!!!
I'm at the absolute top of my upper window (134)... but here are my excuses:
-my birthday
-daughter spent night in ER- yes this can happen when you don't poop for 14 days- gives you an idea of how pleasant this one was- and yes- even I can eat my way through even that...
-we had someone shoot through a window on the third floor- the bedroom next to my youngest daughter- on the night of my first dinner party that I've thrown in years
-I'm on the rag and am exhausted- you can guess what that does to someone who already has low iron
so enough whining- I'll return in full force next week!!! Am doing my labs this week or next...we'll see what the Doc says and if I don't like it- I'm changing!!!
