Topic: Anyone else having pain like this?
Hi All! This is my first time posting probably since right after my surgery. But I'm glad to see there are still people posting from the same time frame as me.

So here's my dilemma: 3 times in the last 5 or so months I have had these very severe "attacks" in the same area as my pouch. I didn't see a doc after the first two times, but I had to drive myself to the Urgent Care Clinic this last time (2 days ago). They doped me up, ran some labs, took some xrays, said they saw an air bubble near the pouch area, and sent me on my way because I wasn't hurting anymore (maybe because of the morphine ya' think?) and because they thought it was just gas. So I went home, slept for a bit, decided to try and eat some toast, and got about half way through one piece before the pain started up all over again. Only this time, I started throwing up, too. Which in itself is an anomally, because the only time I've thrown up since surgery has been when I've eaten too much, and then (as you probably all know) the only thing coming up is what just went down. So my HH took me to the other hospital's ER (the UC is only open certain hours), and they also gave me lots of pain meds and ran labs. They at least conceded that gas would probably not be making me throw up. They gave me a CT scan as well, and this only showed some extra fluids floating around, but nothing they felt was worrisome. So they sent me home, again.

I haven't had anymore pains in that area, but now I'm feeling very tender and bloated. Yesterday, all I wanted to do was eat. Today, I'm not really interested in eating a bunch, just normal, but I'm still feeling the same way: tender and bloated.

I don't know if I should be really worried. My surgeon has retired, so I don't really know who to consult about this. I'm going to call my PCP today to make an appointment to be seen. But I'm just wondering if any of you have experienced anything similar. This pain was bad...bad enough that I literally had to be carried from my car to the Urgent Care clinic...right up there with childbirth.

Any thoughts?

It's an espresso mocha protein drink that is yummy! I don't even like coffee, but I am hooked on Click. Damn that Melting Mama and her reviews.

Fat is less dense than muscle...so muscle weighs more, but is takes up less space than fat. That means...pump that iron to trim down!

I know you'll know this...

muscle weighs more than fat right?

Hello all! I'm sorry that I missed weigh-ins yesterday. I started painting the entire inside of my house and I got completely sidetracked all day long. My butt is soooo sore this morning from all of the squating that I did. I'm not even close to being done either...I have to buy more paint today, so Tylenol...here I come. :o(.

I weighed in this morning after I got dressed and had some Click...so this is just a guesstimate:
Surgery/high: 251.5
Last Monday: 142.2
Today: ~ 140

Make it a great week ladies...and keep up the good work, Steph...you're on a roll!!
