Hey Suz..First I will say that see a lot of ppl read your post but none replied....it is a bit much to admit your faults in public but anyway....I don't mind....for me it has been too much food. I still work out each day during my lunch break but I noticed that I am a binge eater..I can start eating something and just not be able to stop...most days I am afraid to even start eating..I am fine until I get that first bite of whatever it is and it triggers me to binge and graze all day long. It does not matter if its protein or carbs...I will binge on it...even carrots. And unfortunately, I have never had the dumping syndrome nor have I ever had restriction. The first year after surgery I was just blessed to be given the will power to make the right decisions. Now I just don't make the right decisions and eat once a day...all day long..empty calories like hard candy or gumballs....and I can say that I will get my daily caloric intake in gum or hard candy before I even eat food....and then I will have my meals as well....Basically, I was able to modify my crazy eating behavior right after surgery and it came back with a vengence and all the support groups or therapists that I have been faithfully attending have not been able to help me get to the root of why I am sabatoging my weight loss....and I continue to eat mindlessly...I would say to just keep doing what you been doing cause it is working for you.

So sorry I have been missing in action lately everyone. How is everyone? I am doing great other then dealing with my son having strep twice and a little stomach bug all within the last 2 weeks. I sure hope we can all stay well for Christmas. I have been maintaining at 139-140 my body just seems to like it here. I really would like to get back down to 134 but haven't really been trying too hard. I haven't been to the gym in like forever. I've been working over every night I'm here to make up taking off when Logan is sick. Ugh. Just wanted to let you all know I'm still alive...lol. I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas Holiday!!

i have not been here in forever but as i check in i see that everyone looks so great! i am so proud of you all. i realized just this week that it is almost 2 years since surgery. that seems crazy to me. i started at 353lbs and today i am at 135 and can get into a size 2. never in a million years would i have thought i would have made it this far. the sad thing is i am more self concious of all the extra skin than i was at my heaviest. hopefully someday i will hit the lotto and get all the surgery i need. either way i feel so much better and will be around for my boys. take care everybody!

Let me start by saying that I have been so incredibly fortunate to not have this problem (yet), but I'd like to head it off at the pass if I can.
The issue is this: I have noticed several of our ladies having difficulty with gaining and losing the same 10 or so pounds, or just steadily gaining over the course of a few weeks. I would be terrified to have this happen, so I can only imagine how it must feel to go through it several times over the past year.
I guess what I'm wondering is, what are you doing differently or eating differently to have this happen? I am curious what is happening to cause the gains. Are you eating emotionally, too much junk, too much food altogether, not keeping active? Is it a combination of some or all of these things?
I really hope that I can gain some insight from those of us who have been there, done that. I'd like to avoid this phenomenon if I can.

Thanks so much for the recommendation for Fuze- I tried the cranberry raspberry and loved it. I get so sick of the same stuff and I'm not big on plain water- so this is a great treat!!!

I still need this!!! :)
I was at 139.4 today- which is a miracle considering the week I had. It's 2:30 and I am carb free as of this morning. I'm going cold turkey- the carbs are killing me- just can't stop.
Plus I started eating another meal- very late at night- so I'm trying to go to bed earlier and not nap.
I found out why I am so much larger in the tummy area. I read over the weekend that if you build muscle- without losing fat. The muscle can actually make the fat stick out more- which I think is what was going on with my tummy. I had started doing a lot of ab weight machines and am wondering if that did it.
I'll be here next week- I need the accountability- plus I want to post to share my happiness when I get some of this weight off.
Also- I'm stopping my wine intake until Christmas- too much and too many empty calories.
Those are my goals this week-
