REALLY?! Twice a week? I cannot impress upon you what a big deal they make about the iron and calcium at my clinic! These 2 posts make me feel better about NOT taking it as often as they tell me, or in the form they tell me.

Hey Bel - long time no talk. I was just told to take any iron supplement pill 2 times a week. I usually get the genercic brand and don't have a hard time swalowwing them.

Just got back from Cabo- and you're gonna die- but I LOST weight!!! Don't now how or why- don't care- I just thank the Lord for the best present!!! :)

I am so hopeful to lose another pound by my 2 year mark- 1-16-09. I will be floating on cloud nine!!!
I didn't exercise- other than move around and ran on the beach once for 2 miles, walked 5 miles on the beach once, walked 2 miles on the beach once and swam lightly... now my fat %age did go up from 23.9 to 26.8- so I lost muscle mass- so that sucks.
Steph- congats on making the scale go in the right way- ON a Holiday week!!!! :)

I haven't been on for a long time. I feel i need to go back to the roots and where I got the best support. That is my OH family. I never reached my personal goal but I did reach the goal my surgeon set for me. I have gained 15 pounds since February and I am scared. I have a lot of stress going on right now. It had gotten to the point that it was causing neck and arm pain. My doctor has put me on a medication called Lexapro to help. I need weight loss help. My personal goal was 180 and in February I was 206. I am now 220 216 most mornings.

See, my doc will not prescribe one. She says that they are not absorbed fast enough in my system and that I HAVE to take a chewable children's complete vitamin, chewable Centrum Compete, or Bariatric Advantage Iron chewable. I have tried all of them and I just cannot hack them, so I haven't been taking iron at all lately.
I bought some OTC iron pills and have been taking them. I figure some iron is better than none!

I take a perscription iron pill everyday, my surgeon refills the rx every three months for me. It is not a huge pill, normal size.
