Well- that's it I guess. My mom and my therapist were the only 2 people left telling me that I looked good. Went shopping with my mom and she saw me with my shirt off and went "OMG you are too thin". It's really wierd- with clothes on I look totally average- but when I take my shirt off I guess I look bony- maybe I have big bones- I don't know... but my mom is my last reality check- I'm done losing.
On that note- is anyone surprised at the amount we are able to eat to maintain- I am eating a LOT!!!! I need to total my calories- but I will be shocked if I'm not over 2000- but I do exercise- so maybe that's it...
Anyone else find that when you stop lifting weights you lose pounds? I know that's a bad loss because it's probly all muscle- so I need to keep up better with my weights.

Good Morning, January Lovelies! Things are moving along...I am hungry a lot, eating often (maybe too often), and gaining a few back like I should . It is really messing with my mind, though. I posted some thoughts about it in my profile blog, with lots more babbling to come, I am sure.
Anyway, here's the numbers for the week:
Surgery/high: 251.5
Last Monday: 142
Today: 143.8
Loss/gain: +1.8
BMI: 23.1
Now, let's see if I can mentally allow myself to keep gaining back to 145 or 150. It's so hard to see those numbers creep up....but I know that I would much rather look normal and healthy, as opposed to looking skinny and gaunt just to see some low number on the scale. No one else sees that but me anyway, so what does it really matter, right?
Have a great day, ladies! I'm off to have a cup of chai tea (my new addiction) and some kind of Matrix protein shake (yummy) .

Aw, Stacey...I'm bummed to hear that you are still not feeling well. I can understand that although you are losing, it's not the way you wanted it to go. I sure hope that your "people" can come up with some solutions for you...you need to get back to being the chipper Stacey that we all know and love! Sending you some good thoughts and positive energy to get you back on the road to health...maybe the fairy can help you out, too?

It's been awhile since I did the monday weigh ins..... life is so crazy busy - as we all know.
I'm still hanging in there -

cw 164 - with a bmi of normal !!!! I don't think that I've ever had a normal bmi - not since 1st grade.
According to the chart on OH - 5'8" - 164 pounds = normal BMI.
my goal is to get to 160 by feb. 7th..... hoping at least. I have my year check up that day ( it's a month late because I had knee surgery on 1/8).
Ya know it's funny.... when I look at myself I feel like I still need to lose about 10 - 15 more pounds. However, i just saw pictures of myself from this weekend at a party and I'm not sure I like how boney my neck and face looks.....my kids say i'm looking skeletal - do you think we will ever be ok with how we look?
Congrats to everyone who is celebrating their 1 year anniversary....keep up the great work in year #2.

Beth, you have done awesome....Congrats!!! I really feel that it's how we feel at what weight. As long as you feel great well there you are Plus you could be like me, I stayed at 152-3 for 2 months and have now started dropping again.
