Good Monday Morning (afternoon) My January Lovelies!
I've been busy as a beaver (are they really busy?) today staining some oak bookcases. yikes! I say, leave this to the professionals...this is for the birds! Anyway, feeling good and so glad that it's spring break, even for me!! Two of the three kids are off of school this week...the other is in year-round so no spring break for her :o(. The husband and I are heading to Monterey, CA for Wed.- Friday...he has a seminar for work and this is the first year that my school schedule has worked in my favor and I can actually attend. Now, on with the numbers...
Surgery/high: 251.5
Last Monday: 140.6
Today: 140.8
Loss/gain: +.2
Wowee! Big gain, huh? Oh well...

Well I am hanging in at around 145 lbs. I have decided not to worry about getting lower. If I do great but if not that's fine too. Besides eventually I will be having PS. I am in a size 6 so that is great. After plastics it will be a size 4.

Hey Holly...I still have 18 more pounds to go to goal and I still feel huge! My bf was asking me on Saturday if I still saw myself as overweight and I was like yes...he gave me a weird look and told me Rome wasnt built in a day and not to give up and be patient. So I am working on the mental aspects of this journey right now.

Hi Everyone -
It's been awhile since I've check in as well.
I 'm still hanging out at 158 - 160 which is fine, since it's my goal weight. If I go lower that's ok too, just as long as I don't gain.
I was supposed to have my gall bladder surgery today, but got a phone call at 6:50 am saying that all same day surgeries have been cancelled due to a power outage at the Hospital.
Boy, did that mess up my whole head today. It is now scheduled for friday the 28th, so hopefully I can make it till then , without any more painfull attacks.
I also wanted to say thanks for all the thoughts and prayers, I just have not had a chance to get back to anyone, since I was in insanely busy with everything going on.
Glad to hear everyone is doing well, and hope everyone has another good week.

Hello, and long time no... (well, I can't say see) so let's say...Long time no write...
My weight is continuing to go in the wrong direction, but there's not much I can really do about it at this point. The Dr's think maybe I have scar tissue adhering part of my bowel to the abdomen, but they can not determine for sure until I have surgery on 4/7. So, until then I just grin and bear it.

Steph- you are still in the glorious 150's!!!
I am at 129 again- on the edge of my window again.
Anyone else feeling like they need to lose more weight? I feel huge again. I guess it's cuz I'm not exercising enough lately.
I'm very excited about everyone's upcoming surgeries- can't wait to see before and after pics!!!

Hey Karen - first off let me tell you that your pictures on your profile looks great and 88 lbs is a lot to lose! So, don't be so hard on yourself. If I were you I'd try to get back to the basics. Drink a ton of water and eat protein first and when you want to eat those crackers or cookies, maybe allow yourself a couple of cookies a week and maybe 10 crackers a day? I'll eat a few unhealthy snacks here and there as well, but I make sure and not go overboard and then I'll drink a lot of water or tea and the craving junk food usually goes away. Bel had some good ideas, maybe post a pic of your before picture on your fridge? You can do this and we are here for you. I hope you feel better.

Monday Morning Weigh Ins [Edit Post]
Had a bit of a bounce up this week..I am sure I lost those 6 pounds last week due to my tummy being so upset and not able to eat and then from drinking that magnesium citrate...boy did it clean me out!! LMAO I know that is TMI for a Monday morning but I still have a net loss of 4.2 pounds so I will not complain!
