Good luck Holly. I don't know of any books, but I do know it's easy to backslide. I can't believe I can gain weight so easy either. I just wan tot be normal!!! We can do this together though, ok?

Oh Belle I'm miserable. The pain meds make me tired and I am in pain and can barely move. I had to stay 2 nights. I am so swollen it's not even funny. How do you do it?

Janie- My guess is that I had it easy because he did not tighten any of the muscles. I literally walked to the car on my own 3 hours after my surgery and have never had any extreme pain. He said that is where 99% of the pain comes from the muscle tightening and he did not recommend it in my case. I bet you are going to be flat as a pancake, though! I know you will be happy in the long run. I am with you on the weight gain though! He took 9 pounds and I have only lost 2. Do you have drains in? If there aren't any drains, that is definitely why. I am not all that swollen but I have two really annoying drains. I am hoping it all evens out in a few weeks and I can see the loss on the scales. I did try on some pants I bought before surgery, and I have lost 4 pants sizes... from a 14 to a 10. So even though the scales really haven't changed, it is obviously dramatic! My stomach is tight, but my butt is tighter. I feel like I am going to pop my incisions! I have to say though, my butt looks so much better than I ever imagined... smooth, round, and high. I think it will look better than my stomach!!! Too bad I never get to look at it! lol! HAPPY AND QUICK HEALING! Hopefully we can trade some pics next week!!! YEAH FOR US BOTH!

Congratulations on reaching your doctor's goal, Terrisa! That is such an exciting milestone to reach....and losing 129 pounds is quite an accomplishment. Can't wait to hear that you've reached your personal goal. ~Suz

I'm so glad to hear that you are home safe and sound. Those darn gas bubbles make the pain so much worse. Thank goodness for pain meds! You'll be up and around and feeling like yourself in no time. ~Suz

Wow, Janie...4 pounds of skin off of your already tiny body? That's amazing! I can't wait to see the results. And there is nothing quite like high and tight boobs...I had them for about two seconds after I had my breast reduction 11 years ago...of course they came back :o(. Now...go relax and recover and take care of yourself. ~Suz
