Yay for the tummy tuck and lift!! I have to decide whether I want surgery or to buy our house. I REALLY want surgery, but...well, we'll see.
As for your weight...you're a tall gal, so 168 minus the extra skin lost from surgery...might be the perfect weight for you? Anyway, you're doing great no matter what. Keep us posted on your status.

Hello Suz,
Thanks for always being faithful to post. I go through stages of getting on OH then gone for awhile but it is always nice to see your smiling face and to read your posts.
Not much has changed with my weight. I'm still checking in to getting a tummy tuck, thigh lift and lipo. I have an appointment next week for just general questions & look at pics with a surgeon in Lee's Summit, MO. I'm excited about that.
Current weight 168. Would like to get down to 158 before possible surgery. I can usually lose that 10 pounds in two weeks if I put my mind to it. Don't know why my body wants to stay at 168.
Have a great week!

Good Monday Afternoon My January Lovelies!
I'm starting to sound like a broken record...POST PEOPLE!! Stop lurking and post already!! I won't bite, I promise! lol
Surgery/high: 251.5
Last Monday: 140.8
Today: 140.8...what are the odds of weighing exactly the same weight for days and sometimes weeks on end. My body really likes this number. I went back and found literally dozens of posts with the same weight. Very bizarre, indeed.
Well, I'm off to pick up registration papers for our son to enroll in night school on top of regular senior course work at the high school. He has done everything he could possibly do to **** off(sorry for the language, but it perfectly describes the situation!) school for the last three years, and now it's time to pay the piper, so to speak. This is his last chance to fix things and earn his credits to graduate. He has already passed the CAHSEE, so not passing his classes just seems stupid on his part. Anyway, we're in for a busy and stressful school year(again! ) with him.
Make it a great week ladies! I know you're out there, so don't leave Brit and I alone on this board. We still need one another to succeed!

Good on you for running on the treadmill!! We have one, but I haven't used it since the first 9 months out....I started to lose too much, so I quit. Besides, I detest running!! I do need to get some physically stressing exercise in, though...I want to hike.
Yep, the AC was $10,991. Thank goddess the guy that owns this house came through and took care of it...like you said, it's way too hot here to live without one. And, it has been running like a racehorse since it was installed. OMG...a heated driveway? They actually make one? Very cool!
Now the candy...I am guilty of buying and consuming Reese's Pieces lately. I have no idea why. I do like pb, but the stuff in this candy is barely that and it's chock full of sugar. I don't know...they just seem to call to me lately...and I seem to be answering more than I should. Fortunately I haven't had a gain because of them...yet.

Hey stranger...
Suz- I about died at the price of your new AC- brutal!!! With your temps you gotta do it!!! We have AC here- but in the 3 years we've lived here I've never used it- so it's a luxury item. If it tanked I'd never replace it. Now a heated driveway- that I would LOVE!!! :)
HW- 250
LW- 126
TW-127
but today am back at 126 so probly jus****er- although am trying to watch cuz am fighting the munchy monster something fierce!!! Well- actually I'm losing. There' are just times when you should not go the grocery store!!! I actually bought candy. I have it in the house sometimes for the kids but I try and buy the stuff I don't like so I'm not not tempted. I didn't this time and what was I thinking? FOOL!!!! The kicker is I really feel like crapola after and I know I will and I still eat it.
The good news is I was actually able to run on the treadmill for 20 minutes. I thought I was going to die after- but I did it. I have never been able to run so it was a big deal for me.
Have a good week everyone...

Good Monday Afternoon My January Lovelies!!
Today was a great day!! All of the kids are officially back in school and I finally have some peace and quiet...well, at least I'm hoping to tomorrow.
So on with the business at hand...sorry so late today, but I was crazy busy and only just got a moment to post. Here's the numbers:
Surgery/high: 251.5
Last Monday: 141.8
Today: 140.8
Back to where I was two weeks ago, so I am going to assume that the upper limits of 140# is where my body likes to be for now. It's so strange how I seem to have ".8"'s an awful lot...not important, and not really interesting, just something I have noticed since I have no life to speak of. lol
Now, let's here from the peanut gallery...I KNOW you are out there lurking...I see the views moving upward, but no one except Brit is posting!! I adore her, but I'm sure we'd both love to here from others out there in cyber-land. So, get accountable and let us here from you! We still need one another to succeed!

WOW!! Congrats on getting the trips all in school. You won't know what to do with yourself...take up a hobby? Maybe a cooking class? That way you can eat a little and also stay busy.
As for our air...it was a complete bust! The entire system needs to be replaced. It really isn't a huge surprise since the system is over 30 years old, but the cost is high...probably $7-10 grand for a lower to average end system. ouch. But, the silver lining in all of this sweltering and sweating is that I have no desire to eat. Of course, when the air comes back, so will the food.

Hey Suz-
Here's a prayer that your AC is fixed by now- ewwww - how awful- I hate the heat- but I am much more tolerant of it now that I am not the beached whale I once was!!! :)
HW- 250
LW- 128
TW- 126
The trips start school next week and I am EATING!!!! I am a little nervous about it- they are separating them into 2 classrooms- which I totally agree with- I am just nervous about it. I will most definitely be up (weightwise) next week. I have beeen eating some bad crappy foods lately and that will just have to end!!!
Take Care-
Brit

Good Monday Morning My January Lovelies!!
We're in for another sweltering day here in Sac...hot, hot, hot. And of course, as Murphy's Law would dictate, our air conditioner is busted. The repairman is due at 1pm (the beginning of the hottest part of the day!), so hopefully we will have air by 2pm.
I didn't weigh in last week, so these numbers are from two weeks ago.
Surgery/high: 251.5
Two weeks ago: 140.8
Today: 141.8
Up a pound, but not too bad considering how many Skinny Cow ice creams as I have been packing in...they are the devil, I'm sure of it! So, let's here it ladies...stop in, post, and get accountable!! There are tooooo many lurkers out there!! I see you..I know you're there!! lol
Make it a great week!

this week 128- but today am 126 so am doing fine
am trying not to eat like it's a party before school starts and to the response from personal stresses within my marriage- or what's left of it...
the exercise is the only thing that keeps me going... that seems to be my current addiction
I seem to be hording all my calories for late night eating- but the exercise makes up for it- seems to me to be a bad habit- but could be worse
have a good week...
BritWell, I never did weigh in this week...don't know why. I think my head just isn't into knowing what the scale says this week.
I'm afflicted with the need to graze and pick at food, too. I don't eat much during the day, but once the sun goes down and everyone is in bed...I pretty much eat until I go to bed. Horrible habit from days gone by, I know. Sounds like we are two peas in a pod where that is concerned.
As you know, I can sympathize with the marriage stresses, as well. Sometimes, life just completely sucks. I often wonder why we get married, as too often it just seems to lead to heart-ache and disappointment. I honestly and truly hope that we are both able to figure this stuff out without too many people getting hurt in the process. And perhaps, we may even come out of this happy. Just know you aren't alone...I feel your pain. Now, if we can at least keep our eating under control...at least we'll be able to claim control over something in our lives! lol
