Topic: Anyone travel outside of the US ??
Hi Everyone - I haven't been on here alot lately, work is insane. It never seems to let up. I just found out that I'm going to be traveling to Hong Kong in june and will be over there for about 12 days. I've been there b/4 for work, but never was concerned about what I ate. Has anyone traveled there since surgery? I'm concerned about the food. Believe me it is delicious but i no longer eat noodles or rice or pasta like I did. I do eat chinese food here, not that it is the same as over there. I was just wondering if anyone else had any experiences eating outside of there normal environment ( if that makes sense). I'm also not looking forward to the airplane food and or flight for 14 - 18 hours. i guess i'll pack alot of protein bars and hope for the best. Any suggestions would be great..... thanks - Marta

Maintaining here in Iowa... Been a couple weeks since Ive posted. Weighed in this morning @ 140lbs.. Same oh, same oh... Sorry Steph your struggling, but it can be done... I have a co-worker that ended up gaining 60lbs and she's lost 40 of it so far in the last 3 months... she says its hard to shrink your pouch back down, but she said the hardest for her was eating enough... She found out she wasnt eating enough OR often enough. I honestly eat like every 2-3 hours something, and sometimes its not always good stuff. But I eat very often. I guess my metabolism is roaring for once. I'll keep you in my prayers. Stacey

Yes- not quite the one-two punch I'd hoped for- but definitely a change!!! Can we ever have enough energy with the crazy lives we lead nowadays? I wonder???? Thanks- Holly

Hi Anna: Yes I still go to my local support groups..yes groups...One that meets once a month and that meeting is today and the other meets every Monday which I have been going to faithfully since it started back in March, no one else attends the weekly meeting so I get to see the Psychologist each Monday for one on one therapy. Thanks for your prayers.

Hello HW 250 LW 134 TH131 lowest 126 bmi 21.1 Slowly returning to lowest- wow- it's hard work. Have been getting better with exercise. Still working on better food choices. I am feeling better. Good luck to everyone... Holly

Good morning ladies. Stephanie, I am praying for you. I know you are really struggling with this. Are you still going to your group meetings? I go unless I absolutely can't make it. I think it would help if you had some kind of local support. ((((hugs)))) HW 270 SW 255 LW 141.2 CW 139.4 Some of you will have read my post that I have a normal BMI well most likely I will bounce around it for a while now before I settle under it. Friday I was at 136.4. I was so totally amazed at that. I kepts getting off the scale and moving it and getting back on and getting off and moving it and getting back on...lol. Well you see I am back u to 139.4 but hey that it still a loss of 1.8lbs so I'll take it!! I am bound and determined to get to 135 before my plastics so that with plastics I can reach my goal of 128-132. Anna
