Thanks Steph, I am definitely living the life of a pampered woman right now. Hubby and Logan are great expecially hubby. He waits on me and had taken the whole week off and cleaned a different room in he house each day. I went to the doc today and he said I am doing fantastic. He removed one of my drains so I am happy.

Hey Anna! Glad your surgery went well and you are having a good recovery!! And your friend unfortunately sounds just like my step sister. So I can totally understand what you were going thru...but it all works out! You got your procedure, hubby and son came to the rescue and now you are home. Enjoy your time of recovery as much as you can. Once all is said and done, I bet you will not have much down time from you being to busy working and enjoying life!! Congrats again!

WOW! I can hardly believe it has been 18 months since I had my gastric bypass surgery!! This has been an amazing journey for me and I have been blessed to not have any complications! I serve a mighty God!! In church this past Sunday the minister was talking about being persistent in our faith and I remember praying for many many years about my weight and being able to loose weight and keep it off. I yo yo dieted my self up to 327 pounds and did not know what I was going to do.
In 2005 I blessed with a new job that had a gym (no excuse for working out anymore) and I found out they would cover gastric bypass surgery!!! And boy was I excited...Did God not show up and show out? So here are some of my stats:
When I hopped on the operation table I was 318 lbs...my highest weight was 327 lbs (I lost a whopping 9 lbs before surgery, 4 of which was with the prep I had to do before surgery)
BMI From 52.9 to 26.4
Weight from 327 to 163 (it feels good to be half the woman i was)
Pants size from a very tight 28 to a nice fitting 10....depending on who makes it (like my pants I have on today are an 8 and I have a few 6's in my closet)
Shirt Size from a size 3xl to a medium and some smalls!
I have definitely been blessed these last 18 months!
Pants Size Before 28 very tight at that After size 10!
I could go on and on but I am work and I guess I need to get to work! lol

Stephanie, glad you are doing okay. Sorry that they still do not have an answer for you though. I know that must be very frustrating. I will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
