Yup Suzi you are right girl.  It's swelling and trauma from the surgery.  Remember after our surgery I was up 10 pds and I knew what it was but it bugged me for sure too!  Give it another week or two and you will be way down girl.  I'm still 151...and searching for the 140's ....I pray I will make it!  I decided I'm going to use this year to make sure I can keep my weight down and then Dr. Sauceda...in otherwords too ...I'm saving.  What did it cost out the door?  Love Patty  PS YOU LOOK AWESOME!!

I am astounded every day to see how much change has taken place over the past three years. It feels amazing to finally be myself again and to see the changes in us all. Though, I must admit, I do miss seeing all the old January board faces....where did everyone go?

I haven't had any issues with weight gain or not reaching goal, so I consider myself one of the lucky ones. Nevertheless...I know we are all in a better place today than ever before...regardless of whether or not we met some arbitrary number on a scale.

Late Saturday night my husband and I arrived home from a trip to Monterrey, Mexico. We went to meet a fantastic plastic surgeon, Dr. Sauceda. I had a tummy tuck w/anchor cut, small medial thigh lift(no vertical incision), and breast aug(no lift needed). I feel as though I've been run over by a train, twice...but I know in the end I will look and feel like a billionty bucks. My life truly does keep getting better and better.

Now, if I could only get accepted into nursing school...finally...my life would really be moving in the direction I want! lol.

Hi January 2007 surgery folks,

I'm inviting you to a little group to help those (yes, including myself) who have gained 10 or more pounds beyond that lowest weight. We are calling it the "Drop 10 for 10 Challenge". You can easily join this group by going to www.obesityhelp.com/group/Drop10410. I'm hoping that with your help we can generate a little excitement and enthusiasm for getting back on track. We will have a monthly weighin, but it will only be pounds off since the start of the new 2010 decade. Your participation is only what you want to make it. I'm pumped up and ready to get back on track for 2010.

There are no hard and fast rules for joining, but you really should be at least 10 pounds above your lowest post-surgery weight and interested in getting things back in line.

Let's get this new decade off to a great start.

I wanted to pop on for a moment while I was feeling up to it. The surgery went very well and I am on the mend...though I feel as if I have been run over by a truck and a train! I am going to attempt to take some pictures tomorrow without my compression garment on...it's quite a sight.
Merry Christmas to you, as well. We'll likely have a sandwich in the hotel room for our Christmas dinner! lol

So glad all went well!   Excited to hear (and see) how everything looks!  Tell Suzie hello and give her hugs for me.
