MELISSA!!!!! Hey there!! I was on your page the other night and saw your before pictures and was like oh my goodness!! I cant wait to see how you look once you are all recovered! How much was removed during your plastics? Girl, you will extra hot once the swelling goes down and the healing is done!! You have done an amazing job and this is going to really top it all off!! (I was going to say the icing on the cake..but then I would want to eat the cake!) Lol Keep in touch!! and Thanks
HAHA on the cake and icing!!!
I would want to eat it too! We are so funny. YUMO
I had 7 lbs of skin taken off... had no fat so skin weighs not much so it was all skin and 7 lbs, LOTS removed. Most people are completely dumbfounded when I showed them my preop skin, they never knew I was hiding all of that under my clothes - I hid it so well. I am STOKED with the results so far. Simply stoked. I now want boobs of course but we want to adopt children so a good padded bra will have to suffice for now. I think I will pass on the arms and thighs, those two procedures it seems people have so many problems and never satisfied anyways plus the scars are so much more visable in clothes than with the LBL or TT.
Thanks so much for your compliments... this journey is one hell of a ride that just never ceases to amaze me!!!
Wow fantasia... lucky girl you!!!

GIrl, I was shocked and amazed that you had that much loose skin... those pictures was like WOWSERS! IT shows up much hard work you put into this journey and the LBL and TT were well deserved. I need my thighs done bad....but I am afraid for the very reason you state above...ppl have some many problems with the procedure...how lucky am I that one of two procedures I need done? The other would be the boobs too!! Lol but the arms and stomach and back were fine...my problem area was always my thighs....darn it..lol
Thanks Steph!!
Don't let my comments scare you, spend some time on the PS board and go for a consult with a board certified reputable surgeon that is comfortable and qualified to deal with WLS patients, I feel that is important. My friend had hers done, while it was uncomfortable, she is very glad she had it done.

Unfortunately its not your comments that scared me away! Lol I was already scared...I did the research before I had wls and found that too many of these type surgeries left the pts scared or handicap even when they used good well know and skilled surgeons. I even know a few personally that have lots of issues from having their thighs redone. So for me, its not worth the risk...a good pair of support hose will keep these things from jiggling too much! Lol I just don't want to have this done and end up with issues where I can't work out or use my legs..that is one of my biggest fears. And I also already have been diagnosed with lymphedema so I don't want to stir that pot any more....
I think you are right there Steph, I totally forgot about the lymphedema which can be a side effect to plastic surgery also.
Well I am pretty sure you are a mom? if you are, happy mother's day!!! If not, well have a blessed day anyway!!
Love ya girl!
