posted pics
K- I should probly just send this to Suz- cuz she may be the only one still out there- but I posted my 2 latest pics- I went to a Fancy Nancy party with my daughter Bryce.
At the time I was 117-120 and my husband told me I looked anorexic. I thought I looked borderline too thin too- but now that I see the pics- I don't think it looks bad at all.
UGH- the mind games...
I was working out twice a week- for a total of 2 hours weights and 2 hours cardio. I had been doing a LOT more, but was just maintaining. I was getting my protein and supplements in. So I was healthy.
Brit :)

Well, first I want to start by saying that I think you are beautiful no matter what you weigh or don't weigh...that said...
I have to honestly say that I personally think you looked more glowing and healthy in the previous pics from last August. You don't necessarily look anorexic or unhealthy in the new pics, however, you really did have a beautiful, perfectly lovely shape in the previous photos. I would say your figure now resembles someone who runs a lot and is super-vigilant about their diet...very, very lean, but not unhealthy.
Ultimately, if you feel good (really, honeslty, truly feel good!) at your current weight, are satisfied with how much you need to exercise to maintain that weight, are pleased with your appearance, and are truly healthy...then keep doing what makes you feel good. No one else lives in your body or mind, though I think I can guess how the mind part feels. ;o)
You've got to go with what makes you happy.
All this aside...I looovvve the name Bryce!! I almost wish I were having more kids! I adore names that are somewhat off the beaten path. We have Forrest Douglas, MacKenzie Lena, and Piper Marian. If I could have more kids and be guaranteed more boys...there would surely be a Sebastian and a Sasha running around here. Maybe I can work those two names in for future grandsons?

WOW-
You are so good!!! You always have something great to say!!! Thank you!!!
I truly appreciate you!!
You're exactly right- either is good- it is exactly a question of how vigilant I choose to be. My guess is that will change depending on ci****tance but that I have to keep it within my window so I don't get out of control. I just wish I could keep my window range a little smaller. Something to work toward...
Yeah- I'd caught you mentioning Piper before... LOVE that one! Conner's middle name is Forrest too, Colton Talbott, and Bryce Logan. I've heard a few more that I like too- but no way am I having any more kids- I thought I was pretty lucky to pick 3 names at once- from hear on out I'm gonna have really cool named dogs!!! :)
Thanks-
Brit

Oooo...I like Talbott, too! And I can't believe that you have Forrest as a middle name. People thought I was insane for using such an old-fashioned name when we chose it. But now, we are starting to see it much more frequently around town. My little one, Piper, has a Forrest in the first grade class next to hers, and my son has a girl named Forrest a year behind him in high school.
We can't even use the remaining "good" names for the pets, either...we have always used the names of trees. It's a looonnngg story, but the short version is that my dh used to work in high voltage line clearance...so, trimming millions of trees around, through, over, and under power lines. Anyway, the tree names intrigued us...and they started getting used for every pet.
Currently we have two black cats, Rowan and Willow, and two dachshunds, Hawthorne and Olive. But we've had Sequoia and Cedar (French mastiffs and our first in the line of tree names), Bay, and Holly.
As for the weight thing...I know how hard it is to be satisfied and at peace with where we end up. We find it so natural to question ourselves enlessly. For instance...I am up 4 or so pounds from my usual low over the last year and a half, however, I wear exactly the same size without any trouble. So, why does my heart keep telling me to drop a few pounds? I am just about where I originally said I was okay gaining back up to...this shouldn't be a problem at all. It's that damn number on the scale that is giving me little fits of irritation.
I mean, I don't want things to get out of control, either. But, I really am maintaining without an ounce of effort. I could easily lose a few if I wanted to work at it...and obviously I don't want to yet.
In any case, we both look and feel better than we have in who knows how long. And that is nothing to complain about or to feel to unsuccessful about.
