Monday Morning Weigh Ins

Oh I C!  And I totally understand.....I would most likely feel the same way you are feeling but hey....its on the down side now and the elections will be over soon!  And at least you have your halloween party planning to keep you busy right?  Are you doing something big this year too?  Are the kids getting excited? 

Well, normally nothing would keep me away from planning the party for my kids (wow, I can't believe you remembered!). I LOVE Halloween, as you know!
However...this year there will be no party. It's not really too sad since we will be in LA for the OH event, instead! My kids are none too happy...but they will get to spend some time at their grandparents' house and trick-or-treat in their neighborhood. We will be having what I suspect will be a great time at the seminar. Plus, I will finally get to meet MeltingMama...so that makes the trip totally worth it for me.
In the meantime, I am trying to decide if I should even decorate the inside out the house since we won't be here at all for the holiday...the outside of the house is definitely out. But yeah, they are always excited about the arrival of Halloween...I mean being scared until you laugh and getting free candy? You can beat that with a stick!

Wow! How exciting for you! I went to an OH event last year and had a blast..it was a small scale but there was lots of good information and I enjoyed it.  I know you and your dh will have fun too! And hey, the kids will still have fun on Halloween with out the big party...like you said..there will be lots of candy to be gotten somewhere!  And yes I remembered how much you enjoy halloween! lol  And not having the party this year will give you an excuse to have a really big blow out next year!! That is if nursing school does not have you too worn out.

I went to a local event in Sacramento a couple of months ago. It was fun, but small scale like you said. This should prove to be much more informative and fun!

Awww Suz, I know it gets hard when we lose our help for a little while. I know that when Dave is working and not home to help put the kids to bed for one night I feel a little resentment. I know I shouldn't but I can't help it. Of course it goes away mostly. It's hard being a Mom, especially a single one. He'll be back to ya soon!! (((hugs))))

Aww, thanks for the hugs...I need 'em since I'm not getting any lovin' from the man. Sadly, he has never been the hands-on type of father or husband for that matter, but is always a good provider...that's the part he's really good at. It's taken many years for me to accept being mostly responsible for the kids, with a little back-up form him here and there. But, to have that little bit taken away is brutal! I can only imagine that it is really going to be rough when/if I get into nursing school since I will be so busy myself. I wonder how he will handle being the one who must take care of the kids, no matter what, no excuses. All these years he thought he actually had a choice in the matter because I was always here. Silly boy...he's in for a huge shock!!

Every time I try to post a pic its too big! lol And I hate how distorted they get when I try to edit them but I am still working on it! I even tried to just post on my profile with no luck...sighs 

Steph!!! I don't care where the 7 lbs came from, if I were you I'd grab them quick and claim them. lol!
