let's update
I swear by the frequent mini-meals, as well. In fact, I'm probably dangerously close to being labeled a grazer. But, it works for me!
High Wt. 251.5/Goal 150/Current 145 39 yrs. old, 5' 6" tall, Size 1

I've been downing those cranberry pills for awhile now- I really notice the problem when I don't drink enough or if I have alcohol or after 2 hours of cardio... stuff like that. It's not painful- just feels like I have to go but don't need to- no more blood so that's good.
I'm having labwork done again this week- so will have them check it again.
I guess BMI of 22 is still okay- I'm just freaking out cuz it's sarting to get cold and none of my pants from last winter are going to fit. 12 pounds is a lot now- at 250+ I never even noticed it. Plus I just don't want it to become an upward trend.
On a nutjob note- I looked at all the other soccer moms at our game on Sat am and there were atleast 3 that were thinner than I am on our piddle little team alone. That kinda freaks me out- I know retarded. My husband said- so what? and he said one of them is too thin anyways.
I'm gonna try the mini meals- I definitely could use progress in that area- I'm just so afraid of grazing. Do you have set times that you plan on eating?
Thanks!!!
Holly/Brit

Your bladder problems sound just like mine!! Bladder spazms are the WORSE!!!
BMI of 22 just "OK" Are you serious??? Mine is 23... Your going to give me a complex!
I've learned to concentrate on Size..... Im in a size 8.... I don't ever want to be bigger than that, so when my jeans get tight, I just kinda watch what Im eating as far as chips, sweets go..and then within a day or so, they are loose on me again.
It is weird how 5lbs makes a difference at this size than it did when we were heavy.
You are being way to hard on yourself!
I don't even begin to compare myself with anyone else, cause I have such a hard time visializing myself until I see a picture.
Find some happiness wihin yourself, be proud of yourself. Listen to your husband that loves you! Post some before and after pics on your fridge and think "WOW" look at me!
I don't have set times that I eat... Here is a example of today...
9am Breakfast- pillsbury cinn roll (I cheated) LOL (border line to much sugar for me) 1030am Snack- Banana
1230pm- 3/4 brat with 1/2 bun and about 1/4 c cheezy potatos
230pm- hand full of ruffles
5pm- about 6 pieces of round steak... about 6 bites of mash potatos and about 1/2c green beans
7pm- banana
930pm- brat, with no bun
Just for you.. I entered into Fitday.com and its about 1300 cal. 50 prot. 130 carbs, 65 fat
Not the healthist eating, but Lord knows I eat! I'm trying to up my water intake and my potassium intake, Ive had ALOT of cramps in the middle of the night.
This is pretty much how I eat though. Im not worried about waking up and gaining weight. These are approx. times. but pretty close. Ive had 3 bottles of water today which is 48oz.
See ya tommorow at Monday weigh ins!!

Hi Holly:
Do you still trac****assionally, but not like i used to
Do you count carbs? Not any more If so- what are your goals? none
Do you count fat? no
What's your average caloric intake? Way too many!! And its all empty calories
What's your average protein intake? 80-100
What's your average workout like? 30 mins cardio (ellptical and treadmill jogging) 5 days a week, some tues and thurs I get an extra hour by going to aerobics
How many days a week do you exercise? goal is 4 but usually six
Are you getting all your water in? about 80 oz a day
Do you still do shakes for protein? Yes
Are you taking all your vitamins? Most days...some days I miss a dose but I usally get them in. I Have to set a timer on my cell phone so I dont miss out. My memory is terrible and I get so caught up in the day to the day that I miss a dose when I dont have my timer go off.

Hey everybody....long time no "see". I am maintaining right now. I hit my goal weight of 135lbs. back in April and I've stayed between 132 & 135 since then. I'm not struggling at all, I stay at the same weight pretty much no matter what I do...apparently my body likes this weight!
Do you still track? no, stopped a few months ago
Do you count carbs? no, but I still eat low carb and no white rice, flour, or potatoes...occasionally a baked potato
If so- what are your goals?
Do you count fat? no, but I usually eat reduced fat foods...I've guess I've gotten used to the taste and just automatically reach for them
What's your average caloric intake? have no idea, probably around 1500-1800
What's your average protein intake? around 70g
What's your average workout like? non existent
How many days a week do you exercise? none, I'm not sedentary...I am active but I have no organized exercise routine
Are you getting all your water in? every day...I can feel it if I don't
Do you still do shakes for protein? nope...I drink at least 2 glasses of fat free milk with sugar free chocolate syrup every day for extra protein
Are you taking all your vitamins? every day, like clock work...its just part of my every day routine now, don't even have to think about it
I've discovered that I can eat pretty much what I want, within reason...I just don't eat a lot of it. I have my limits on fat and sugar intake and I adhere to those limits. I also know when I'm eating too many carbs...I start feeling sluggish, irritable and get headaches, plus I start craving them like crazy, so I back off for a few days.
This summer has been a roller coaster, emotionally for me...especially the month of August, full of ups and downs, you can read about it on my profile. But the one good thing about it is I discovered that I'm no longer an emotional eater. Before surgery I would eat for any occasion or emotion...happy, sad, mad...didn't matter. This time, with everything that was going on around me, I never not once reached for food for comfort. That was a major victory for me, I've conquered it! So now I feel like I really can do this for the rest of my life and be perfectly happy and satisfied.
Hope everyone else is doing well!
Denise
