Monday Morning Weigh In

Hey, Janie....yep, it's been awful here all week, but of course it's much worse in the immediate vicinity of the fires. The smoke is so thick that it looks like fog throughout the entire Sacramento valley, and all the way from the Bay Area across to the Sierra's. We saw images from NASA satellites last night on the local news...it is amazing to see so much smoke all the way from space. Anyway, yesterday and today most cities are canceling all outdoor activities and warning parents to at least keep the kids inside. We have tried to stay inside as much as we can because the constant haze of smoke...our eyes burn constantly and it is starting to affect our breathing. So, if we don't succumb to smoke inhalation first (jk), the smoke is supposed to start clearing a bit by the end of the weekend.

Wow Suz, that's awful to hear. I bet many people will have chronic breathing problems due to all of the smoke. I feel bad for the people with asthma, that sure can't be good. Hang in there and try to stay inside. ***hugs**
