The only thing I can figure is that because our clothes are so much smaller and so are we, there really isn't any room for another few pounds without it being more noticeable. You can feel crazy with me and Janie anytime!

No your not crazy Suz and Holly. I have definitely noticed that just a couple of pounds makes a difference in how my jeans feel. I thought it was me. Now we can all be crazy together....lol Anna

It's so weird, Anna...I have dropped another pound or so since yesterday and I noticed that my Levi's are super loose today. Sunday the same jeans were fitting much more snuggly...but, today I needed a belt to keep them up! Why couldn't a couple of pounds have made a more noticeable difference when I was fat?

I know exactly what you mean Suz. Oh well at least with the lb making such a huge difference it will help us to stay on target. Anna

Ladies, I can't believe you are fretting over 1 or 2 lbs. Let's look at a few things. 1) Water weighs 8.345 lbs per gallon or 1.08 lbs per pint or 0.92 oz per ounce of water. 2) You all retain water at times during your menstrual cycle. 3) There is much less of you now so the amount of water retained is a higher percentage of your total weight. 4) A gain of 1.5 lbs is only equal to 3 glasses of water. Took me a while many years ago to realize why my sister would buy the same outfit in two different sizes if she really liked it. Then I realized unlike me she was hard put to weight 100 lbs soaking wet and when she retained water it was enough to change the size of her clothing that she needed two different sizes. Retaining 1 pint of water now is a gain of 1 - 2% of your total weight whereas previously it was closer to 1/4 - 1/2%. Noticeable vs not So please don't be disheartened by the fluctuations in your weight. Mother Nature made you that way. Have a great day. Rich

Rich, thank you for bringing that to our attention. Very good point. Your right I really do freak out over a lb or 2. Then I think back what did I do wrong....lol. Nothing and I just can't figure it out. Now thinking back, salt is the one thing I have refused to give up so I do retain more water after eating dinner that I salt. Anna

OMG!!!! It's official!!!! I am half the woman I used to be!!! HW 250 LW 128 TW 125 current BMI 20.2 okay- met my lowest goal- I'm done. Other than being really tired again I feel great. Still don't feel skinny- but am fully convinced I never will- so am not going to try and achieve an unachievable goal. It's good to know we can still lose at almost 18 months out- that's nice. Happy Holly
