Monday Morning Weigh Ins

You are much more disciplined and lucky than I am...I could never eat just three meals plus a shake each day. My blood sugars just won't allow that...it's 6-8 mini-meals or I'm shaky and out-of-sorts all day. Stuck or not...dropping 3 dress sizes in a month is great! But with a 5 pound loss this month, you'll probably be on a roll again with the steady losses for a while. Great job and keep doing what works for you! ~Suz

Suz, I didn't drop the 3 dress sizes in a month. I wish. I dropped them over the months that I wasn't losing any weight. But boy, that is a good fantasy isn't it? LOL Hugs, Katy

Oh, sheesh....I guess I misread that. But, you still dropped them nonetheless...can't beat that!

Thanks Anna! I am pretty excited about it. I still have a ways to go until I get to goal but it helps me to focus on what I have lost instead of the 30-40 some odd pounds that I still need to lose (depending on which doc I am talking to). I find that I am always smiling. When I was just in Walmart, I turned the corner and was smiling for no reason and this man did a double-take and then told me that seeing my smiling face made his day. Well, that made my day! LOL Hugs, Katy

Good Monday Afternoon My January Lovelies! It is positively gorgeous here in Ca...can't beat the perfect weather. I'm planning a long walk this afternoon just so that I can enjoy the weather. So, on to the reason we are here: Surgery/high: 251.5 Last Monday: 145.0 Today: 143.6 Loss/gain: -1.4 Back down to my normal stable weight (within .2) and feeling sort of silly about fretting over a pound and a half. But, I noticed that just that 1.5 pounds (actually more since I did hit 146 for a couple of days) did make a difference with the way that my jeans fit. Is it all in my head? Eh...who knows. Either way...I feel better. Have a wonderful week everyone! ~Suz

Suz!!! I thought I was crazy, but I noticed that a couple pounds extra makes a huge difference! After plastics I got up to 145 (I was so swollen, it was crazy) I went in at 122! Anyways, I was 125 and wanted to get into my jeans. OMG they were tight. 123 lbs, they fit perfectly. I would have never thought that a couple pounds could make a difference in the way your pants fit, ya know? So, no I don't think it's all in your head, unless we're both crazy? lol!

Thought I was nuts too- but a few pounds totally makes a difference in my clothes. My sister used to tell me that and I thought she was full of baloney- but it's true- I see it now too. I thought I was going nuts!!! Holly
