Kim, don't give up. I don't think your done. How tall are you? I don't think you are done at 314. Have you tried doing the 5 day pouch test. It will put you back on track. Keep in mind that you had quite a bit more to loose then a lot of us did. I only had 130 to lose. So it will take you a little longer. Please please do not give up. You are not done yet. You can do it!!. Yes you can eat a bit more then you use to but you can also still eat healthier and snack healthier and continue to loose weight. Are you exercising? You must exercise. We love you and are here for you!!!

Wow! First, I think you need to take credit for the 130 pounds you have lost. That is great! And second, it is by no means too late. Have you checked out the 5 day pouch test? You are a great candidate for this. It really helps you to get back to basics and make your pouch work for you. Here is the link

Good luck!!! Just think, you are probably half way their already!
Kimmy - I agree with the others, you aren't done. It's just going to be harder and require more determination from you than the 1st yr. But now that you've learned healthier eat habits, that will keep you going. Go back to the basics, that should kick start the weight loss again. But be proud of yourself, you have lost a lot of weight.
Kimmy,
You aren't done yet if you don't want to be! I am not done yet either. I asked my doc this very question not long ago. He tells me that I can lose up until the 2 year mark and then it seems to be much much harder. Right now that we are past the 1 year mark, we have to work at it.
I know I have struggled with being comfortable. I weigh less and it feels good. I don't stand out in the crowd anymore and I am comfortable in seats and comfortable in general. The bad thing is that can lead to complacency. I still need to lose 53 more pounds. In order to do that, I am going to have to work at it and use the tool that the surgery has given me.
I agree with the others on the 5 day pouch test. Are you attending a support group? Are you exercising? Stop snacking. Drink your water and eat your protein. You can do this! We can do this!
