Monday Morning Weigh-ins
Am I lost? Is it not Monday? Spring break was last week and my days are all off- so if I'm nuts just ignore this post.
I am really enjoying checking in on everyone's surgeries- I can't believe you are all so mobile already. I am also anxious to see the before and afters- and am hoping they will prompt my husband to cough up some cash for a little tummy help!!!
I had a rough week- it's so crazy how some weeks are just easier than others. I am out of my window by about 2 pounds- which scares the crap out of me. Which is actually good I guess. I was really tired and barely got any exercise in which I'm sure is contributing to the problem.
I think I need to see a food therapist or a nutritionist or take up knitting- I'm looking for info on all three!

Today: 144.4 (riding that cotton pony...too much water retention ).
Have a great day ladies! Now...back to the books....

Hi Holly -
I know I just had surgery on friday, but what a way to mess up your head...... I got on the scale last night, fully clothed.... it said I weighed 164!!! WHAT!!! I know it has to be from the surgery, all gas, fluids ect.... but man what a way to mess with your head. The morning of surgery I weighed myself and it said 155 ( that's the lowest I've ever been)
Soooo on that note I'll have wait till next week for a more accurate reading.
Also my happy pills are not really working and had to call Dr. for another kind, hopefully these will be better. I'm startng to feel a little better, but the gas is still a killer.
Hope everyone has a good week -
Marta
Holly - I had help last week, Dave's stepmom stayed with the kids at our house and Dave was with me @ the hospital for two days. It was only supposed to be one, but we couldn't get the pain under control. They are in preschool now, so it's not that bad. But I wish I had more help, I can't even cook and I am so tired all of the time. It's doable though. It'll be woth it in the long run I know. Oh, the driving is a pain in the a$$ though. I can't wait until the pain stops. But see Belle is up and around so I guess it depends on what you get. I had the anchor and TT and my adominal muscles tightened. Are you thinking PS?
Hi Janie -
I was on percocet, but they were giving me such a migrane, I thought my head was gonna blow. The Dr. switched me to Vicadon (sp?) and they are working better. the gas is finally diminishing and my body functions are starting to work again. ( thank god - I was starting to get nervous) I weighed myself this morning and I was down to 161, so it is slowly moving down.
I'm sure you will lose your extra "air" soon too, at least once your swelling goes down you will have a nice flat stomach, mine looks more like one of those wrinkley dogs ( the ones with the loose skin).
