For those of us that are backsliding.. is there anything that anyone can recommened? Where there any special books that you felt helped you at all? How do you find a therapist that specializes in eating issues? I am okay for now- barely- but my old habits are back and I really can see myself gaining all the weight back- maybe not today or tomorrow- but somewhere down the road. Some weeks are harder than others and I guess that will just be the name of the game- but I'm scared. Thanks- Holly

I have been re-reading several of the books that I bought before surgery. One that is really helpful is "The Success Habits of Weight-Loss Surgery Patients" by Colleen M. Cook. It helps remind you of the habits that are most essential during weight loss and for maintenance. I made up this check list that helps me to "think" each day about the habits that I need to work on.

Good luck Holly. I don't know of any books, but I do know it's easy to backslide. I can't believe I can gain weight so easy either. I just wan tot be normal!!! We can do this together though, ok?
