surgery in 2 days!!

Thursday morning I go in for a hysterectomy, panni removal and hernia repair. Need I say I am TERRIFIED! I keep telling myself I came through the gastric bypass and Im much healthier now...But its still scary. Im sure Im gonna be miserable for awhile, but I hope its not as bad as Im thinking. They better hook me up with some happy pills!! Well yall send some positive vibes and some prayers up for me please. And if any of you have had any of these procedures and can tell me what to expect Id appreciate it! mary

Hey Mary: I will send up prayers about your upcoming surgery and wish you a speedy recovery with minimal pain! I have not had any of the procedures but I am sure you will be just fine! Enjoy the happy pills when you get them!!

My teacher's assistant just had a lap hysterectomy and she was up and around, back as normal in just 2 days. Sounded pretty similar to the GBP surgery. As far as the panni removal, as long as they aren't tightening the muscles, that is not supposed to be so horrible. At least that is what I am banking on, since I am having a LBL on Thursday too! Best luck on a speedy recovery, and hopefully we'll both be back on here this weekend telling everyone that it was a breeze?!

well at least we'll be able to comiserate togerther!! I hope everything goes well for your too. I was worried about the GBS but it wasnt so bad...maybe this will be a breeze too. Mary
