Monday Morning Weigh Ins
I don't know if they weigh it, but I am like you, I SO want to know!
My insurance won't pay for the thigh lift, but I knew that.
I don't have to have any testing done since I had my one year labs so recently. I just had a copy sent to my doc and so I don't have to repeat. You might check into that and save yourself more bloodwork!
I should have my date by the end of next week. I'll PM you later. I want more details!!!
I guess the last two weeks, I have been working super over time and not having consistent eating habits like I should and stressing about all the things I am needing to do at work and home.
I also had a serious stomach virus from Friday night until early Monday morning. I actually got down to 113.2, which was making me very scared and thinking that I was going to have serious dehydration. I was still trying to ge****er in, but sprite seemed to be the most settling to my stomach.
So here are my stats this week:
HW: 232
SW: 228
LW: 115.4
CW: 114.4
BMI - 20.2
1 lb loss for the week.
I disclosed to my support group on Saturday my struggle with loosing too much weight and that my family keeps telling me to gain weight back. All of my support group members stated they did not feel that I looked sickly and that they would tell me when to be concerned. My doctor told me he is not concerned either, but I still can not help but be concerned. I bought some protein shakes today and I am going to try to start having 6 meals a day, because I heard that will help my body absorb the protein better.
For those interested, here is a picture of me with the support group I lead in Terrell, Texas on a bi-weekly basis:

I hope everyone has a great day!

Lindy-
WOW!!! Your BMI is lower than mine...mine was at 20.3.
I bet you will hear it- I did too.
I saw your pic and I think you look great!!! More importantly, how do you feel? If you feel good I wouldn't worry about it. People are probly still used to seeing you larger.
Glad you're feeling better-
Holly
Most of the time I feel great, except this latest spell. And my husband says that I look fine except in my breast area he says I look like a little kid because I have gone to a barely A. With me starting a new job, there will definitely be no time off for a while to even consider a Breast lift and to be honest, I am not sure I even want one with us wanting to try to get PG sometime soon. Too much to ponder, huh!
Thanks for the warm thoughts,
Lindy
Wow Lindy, you passed me up awhile ago. As long as you're eating what you're supposed to be and getting in your protein and vitamins you should be fine. I don't know if I would lose anymore if I were you though. When I got down to 120 (I'm 123-125 now) I was looking too skinny in my neck and shoulders, can you beleive that in all places? But I know each person carries it differently.
You have done great and look great.
Are you exercising?
Janie,
Thanks, yep, I am eating good, getting in lots of protein / vitamins. I do sometimes have some random issues of pouch problems like I did very early out due to phlegm, but for the most part I am doing good. I started adding back protein shake supplements, even though I can't stand that they make me have so much gas, which seems to further some of my stomach issues. I have tried the Gas X and Beano, but there doesn't seem to be much relief there.
I actually feel pretty good. I am trying not to loose another inch at all. My body has settled down from the problems I had this weekend, so I need to weight in the morning to see if I put some lbs back on. I think that I lost a huge amount of water retention due to the constant trips to the bathroom.
I am holding off on the work outs until I can get this issue under control a bit. I know that probably just some toning stuff would be helpful and I am hoping after my first full week at my new job, I can get focused. I have been working 10+ hour days since I started. Our Board of Directors meeting is Thursday so there is a lot to do to get ready and our annual audit is March 15th, so timing hasn't been too much on my side. But I am truly loving it so far.
Thanks again for the message!
Lindy
Lindy,
You look great! You are probably at your perfect weight for you. I am sorry you had that stomach bout. Boy that and nasty sounding coughs are going around. I find myself using hand gel galore.
I was talking with someone recently and she told me that she thought a friend of ours had lost too much weight. I said, "Really?...I think she looks great!" Then the woman said, "Well, maybe it is just that the change is so drastic." I think she probably hit the nail on the head with that statement. The change is so drastic that people overeact. I wear a size 16 and I have people already asking me exactly how much more I am planning too lose and expressing concern that I will go to far. Give me a break.
I do know that I don't see what I really look like. So I had decided before I ever had surgery that I would let my doctor and my hubby be the ones that I trust to tell me where I should maintain. The doctor is unbiased and I don't want the hubby to worry. I have made up my mind to care less what anyone else thinks and am going to assume that any negative reactions are someone else's personal issues or the weight loss is simply so dramatic that I look smaller to them than I am.
Again, I think you look great. Hey, when you do get PG, I bet those same people look at your PG bulge and tell you that you are getting fat and ask if the surgery didn't work for you! LOL People....can't live with them, can't lock them away where they can do no damage.
Hugs,
Katy
