Monday Morning Weigh Ins
Good Morning Stephanie and all my surgery sisters (and brothers),
I've had something crazy happen to me. I thought I was through losing weight (which was absolutely fine) and then I dropped another 5 lbs! I just bought some new clothes that I needed and now I might as well just return them - haven't worn them yet!
I'm probably the only person to complain about losing weight.
I just am frustrated because I want to stabilize at a weight and then maintain that.
My clothing situation is crazy, I have saved clothes (all sizes) for years in storage and I keep taking them out, dry cleaning them and then I'm lucky I can wear them once before they are too big. I bought a bunch of 14 pants a while ago and now I'm wearing all of them safety pinned! I had to pay to have them hemmed as well...it's crazy!
Sorry, I shouldn't be complaining (that's my MO) - losing is better then gaining!
So, here's my current stats:
SW:272
CW:147!!!
Total: 125 lbs!
I dropped 5 lbs in the last week - after weighing 152 for the past few weeks.
Hope everyone has a good week. My goal for this week is to attempt to eat just a bit more (protein-wise) during the day. That's where I'm lacking...also to get over this nasty bronchitis that is kicking my butt!

Hi All -
I finally have seen the scale move. I lost 4 pounds in these last 2 weeks. Just when I thought I would be destined to stay at 164 - the scale said 160 this morning.
Finally!!!
This is my personal goal, so we will see if the scale keeps moving. I added back more carbs than I normally eat ( not much), I don't think that I was eating enough food.
I been having gall bladder problems and had an ultrasound done and yup - I have gall stones. they want to take it out, so..... that would mean another surgery. I feel like i'm falling apart. I had no issues at 311 pounds and now i have had knee surgery and now need to have gall bladder surgery in the same year. I know i'm healthier than ever, but I still feel like I'm falling apart.

2 weeks ago 164
cw 160
I have lost a total of 151 pounds - that still seems insane.
Hope everyone had a good week -

Marta-
Sorry to hear about the gallstones...
I had my gall bladder taken out while I was pregnant with the triplets. The attacks were AWFUL!!! I would end up in the ER on Demerol and wonder what it was doing to the babies. They did mine laporoscopically and it was really easy- and I felt sooooooo much better after.
Will they be able to do it lap?
Great job on the loss!!!
Holly
Hi Holly -
I believe it will be laporoscopically done, unless I have a really bad attack b/4 i can get in to surgery. I have an appt. w/ the surgeon on monday, but will probably have the surgery done in April - he's booked solid. it is the same surgeon who did my bypass - which is actually comforting... hopefully he checked everything out while he's in there.
thanks -
Marta
