Plastic Surgery Consult Scheduled

Okay now I've finally done it. I have my first consult scheduled for March 21st. I am excited and scared all at the same time. I can't wait now that I've finally done it. I scheduled it for Friday because I have to travel. All the docs here in Roanoke want a consult fee. I have heard nothing but good about this PS and am looking forward to finding out what he can do for me. I really don't have a ton of extra skin. Just enough to be extremely annoying and of course to have my son say my stomach is a monster....lol. We really do call it the monster. Too funny. Here is what I would like to have done....a lower body lift and a breast lift. Anna

What exactly does a lower body lift entail? Is front and back and thighs? I am fuzzy on it all and would like to hear about what you get into. Katy B.

Katy- the LBL is the typically the removal of a belt of skin all the way around your lower tummy and upper buttocks. The scar goes around your whole body, and is also referred to as a circumferential body lift. It does give some lift to the exterior thighs because it is kind of like "pulling up your pants", but to do inner thighs is a seperate operation. A LBL is like a butt lift and a tummy tuck all rolled into one. Bonuses are that it also address the "super pubic" area and the back fat!

Thanks Bel, I have not let myself think about PS just yet and now I am curious. Maybe getting closer to goal is doing that. LOL So a LBL includes removing the pannus (spelling?)? Thanks, Katy

Anna- I just mentined your surgery in your WOW post, but kudos for you for finally finding someone you are ready to move forward with. This is awesome news. Please keep me posted! I am hoping to have my LBL or TT around the same time you have your consult, so I'll definitely let you know how it goes!

Well it's just a consult but at least it will give me some idea of where to go from here. I am looking forward to picking out a new body so to speak...lol. I'll for sure keep you updated. Anna

Anna- I don't know if I told you that I did 2 consults. The first surgeon I just did not feel right with, so I went to someone else who I loved. I think you will know if you feel comfortable or not. It is so exciting! Cannot wait to hear how it goes next month! Belle
