Hello, I know it's been much too long that I've posted. I drop in now and then to get a boost from some very helpful posts. You all are my inspiration. Thank you so much.
One year makes me really take a look at where I am and where I'd like to be. I really feel that the work is not done yet. I am still considered overweight and that bothers me. I do congratulate myself from going from a size 24 to a 14 in 6 months. I am one of those who dropped 75 lbs quickly and that is were it stopped.
It is now up to me to get past this marker. I'm at 175lbs and 5'2''. I feel marvelous being lighter and being able to keep up with my young children. I feel wonderful with stylish younger type clothes. I really feel much better about my overall health.
Best of luck to everyone in the 2nd new year!!!
Evelyn
Hi Evelyn...
Just hang in there and hang out here more often!! We all do our best to give each other sound advice and encouragement to reach our personal goals. It sounds as though you are happy about how far you've come...but still want more. We can certainly help you to get to there.
Perhaps you could fill us all in on what's been going on with your eating and exercise habits. Maybe there is some way that one of us January Lovelies can help you to reach your goals? Looking forward to hearing more from you throughout our second year! In the meantime, congrats on year 1 .

Thank you everyone!!! I can feel the love and support. You are all the best!
I think as soon as I started putting more and more carbs into my diet that was my downfall. I'm getting back to fitday as of today. I've got to increase exercise also. I belong to a gym but just haven't gotten there as much as I would like the last few months. Now when I drive by it is so crowded with all the new year resolution people I dread going in. But my kids (age 6 & 8) have started their programs for 10 weeks at the gym this week so I will be going there more often anyway... just have to get in the mode of packing my workout clothes for the car - always.
Take care, Evelyn
