Monday Morning Weigh Ins

Good Monday morning, January Lovelies! Busy weekend here..my daughter had a wrestling tournament on Saturday and kicked some butt! She won her first match in points (7-1), and she won her second match with a pin! Unfortunately, she lost her third match by 2 points late in the day. Yesterday we went to a 40th birthday party for an acquaintance...the food was blech! So, I think that between the all-day tourny and the party...I avoided food most of the weekend...therefore the two pound loss :o(. I know that losing is NOT what I want to be doing, but I still get a thrill every time I see the scale drop a little. This week...more food!! Surgery/high: 251.5 Last Monday: 143.8 Today: 141.6 Loss: -2.2 Have a great beginning to your week ladies...and Steph....big congrats on hitting the 160's!! You are such an inspiration to so many!! ~Suz

Hey Suz!!! Wow, you're still losing huh? I know what you mean though, you know you probably shouldn't lose more, yet the thrill is there if you do!!! Eat girl, eat! I'm glad your daughter did so well w/ wrestling. woohoo!

Hey Suz...did your daughter "flash" her opponet? lol Just teasing!! Good to here that is kicking butt and taking names in the wrestling world! And thanks for the congrats and encouragement! I think you guys are the reason I don't give up when I don't have the results I hoped for! This journey would not be as much fun with out all of you!!

Nah...no flashing this time! She just went in there wanting to win! But, the day starts at 4:30am and her fisrt match was around 11am...so by her last match at 3:30pm...she was beat and had no fight left in her. The guy she was wrestling was also a lot stronger and a bit bigger. Just the way it goes...she may have had a better chance earlier in the day. Oh well, she'll run into him again at another tournament. And, I have to agree...the support and encouragement gotten here is unmatched! It has really helped to keep me focused and centered...I adore coming here to "be" with you ladies.

woohooo Steph, congrats for making it to the 160's!!! Can you even believe it? HW 238 DOS 225 LW 122-123??? CW bouncing betweein 122-123 again. Can not wait for a TT. It's driving me nuts! Have a great week everyone!

Ah....a tummy tuck...wouldn't that be a dream? I am just hoping to see that MAYBE before the end of this year...but it's not looking likely. I guess the roll isn't going anywhere...it'll still be here when I get the cash together.

I want a tummy tuck too *laying on the floor kicking and screaming* but since I had to pay for my WLS, my DH says it needs to be paid off before I can get any plastics. Ugghhhh...such a fun-squasher!

Hey Janie! It is so hard to believe the results I have experienced....I remember when I bought a pair of pants in a size 14 to put in my hope chest to maybe be able to fit into them when I was done losing weight...and they are too big now! So I have definitely surpassed my inital hopes for my results with this surgery. do you have a date for the TT yet?

Hey Steph - nope no date yet. I have to have 3 appt's at my PCP and then send the info to the PS and he'll schedule a date. I am so happy that BCBS of MI doesn't have to give prior authorization as long as I meet their criteria which I do. woohooo!!!
