I did see 156 ONE day!! The scale teased me!
Im going to be one year out in 3 more days.. so hard to believe and what a awesome ride it has been! I will post new pics that day.
My size goal was a size 10 (done) shirts size M-L (done) My goal weight was 145 (12lbs to go) Orgianally my doctor told me to shoot for 80lbs loss in a year... I went way over that at -135 total loss!
Have a great week everyone!!!
Stacey
Beth,

Last week at my daughters: 173
Last weight on the nurse's scale: 178.5
This week on the nurse's scale: 175
Going by the nurse's scale loss: 3.5
Total weight loss: 104.5
I am ready for the new year and staying on track.
Hugs to you all,
Esther

I have never in my life been able to fit a size 4, until now. I'm just having some issues about being afraid to gain a pound or two. I freak out every time the scale jumps to 135. I'll see my dr next week for my 1 year check up. We'll see what he says.

My one year anniversary is on the 25th. It has been the best year of my life.
Here are my stats:
HW: 303 at my 1st consult
SW: 273
CW: 166
GW: 155
Total loss to date: 137 pounds
I have never been given a goal weight by my surgeon so I just set my own personal goal. I know it's short of what the perfect BMI would be for my height and weight, but to tell you the truth if I stay at my CW of 166 forever I would be so grateful for that as well.
Happy surgiversary to everyone.
Debbie
Way to go Beth! Congrats on such great results.
I am still up the 3 pounds I gained after I started seriously weight training and religiously doing cardio. But I am reshaping. Is that a word? My clothes are getting loose again and I look much more toned. I am actually getting some muscles. So I am not complaining except I don't know that I will be at the one year goal my doc has for me. My appointment has been pushed back into February so maybe....But here is my current stats.

Katy,
Way to go! You have lost over 150lbs in less than a year. That is an adult person!!
No matter what the goal was for the year, I think you far exceeded it.
Everyone has really done so well. So, we've lost a bit more, a bit less...what I've learnt this year is not to measure and just be happy with your own personal success!
We have all really done awesome. Everyone's body is different, we are all different ages, started out at different weights, and some of us are stricter with their eating and work out harder than others. Hey, my husband just reminded me that yes, I eat steak a few times a month...so okay, I don't weigh 135 yet like some of you guys and I might never. But I look darn good and sexy at 158 -far better than the 270lb wildebeast! (don't mean to be self deprecating...but that's how I felt when I saw my picture and what I had become...) I'm probably the only one on this site who gained weight (20+ pounds) in anticipation of my surgery. I sorta was having my continuous last hurrah for 2 months pre-op.
That said...once again, congrats everyone.
Stephanie, have a great time on your cruise - what I novel idea!
Will check back in next week.
Best,
Beth
You aren't the only one who gained weight before surgery. Then the doctor read me the riot act and threatened not to do the surgery, so I got busy and lost 10 pounds. Wow. What a difference a year has made. In a way, I am glad I am having to work so hard to make the scale move. It is keeping me from thinking the weight will just fall off and it is training me to keep it off.
But you are so right, we are all so different but we have done the incredible this last year.
Wow, it kind of makes you wonder what we are going to do for the second year....sky diving anyone? LOL
Hugs,
Katy
