I Have A Great Idea

Attention all January Surgery Brothers and Sisters. I thought it would be a kind gesture to adopt a Brother or Sisters from the January 2008 board. I know that some of them have been posting here and that is what gave me the idea. I could post on there board for those that are interested. Perhaps we could find those that are on the same day as ours or close to our date. We could be sort of angles for them. someone that they could pm if they have questions, or just need to vent. Let me know what you think of my idea, or if you have any suggestions, or would be willing to help me coordinate this. Alice

That is a wonderful idea!! Count me in and let me know what you need me to to do to help get it up and running. I think being a contact for some one who is just having the surgery will help respark in us the basics too. Thanks for the idea and keep me posted on how we are going to work it!

So i browsed through the Jan2008 board and found one person who is having surgery the same day as mine...and I shot her an email and explained your idea to her and she is now adopted by me!! We have already had great converstation!! Thanks again for the wonderful idea Alice!!

Alice what an awesome idea. I too have contacted someone on the 2008 board and am waiting to hear back. I'll let you know how it goes. If you want to do something more structured let me know, I'll do what I can to help. Anna
